Hi folks.
I read that you can't trade a character with negative balance.
How is it even possible to have less than zero isk ?
Is there a hidden debt system ?

There is no in-game mechanic that will make your wallet go negative.

But CCP may give you a sort of 'fine' for certain illicit activities, that can cause your wallet to go negative.

sure there is. Transpoorting illegal materials through the gate, and being fined by customs.

It works.... I have a corp mate that was transporting a sizeable quantity of standard exile, accidentally went into highsec, and was fined quite steeply.

If you want to test this, I HIGHLY recommend you do so on the test server!

Once upon a time when I was a younger pilot I bought 6 plex for cheap from a Chinese website.
I was so happy to see my wallet above a billion for the first time! (When a bil was a lot)
The next morning I woke up and my wallet was -1.5bil. :(
Had to buy six legitimate plex to get out of the red.

Never did that again. lol...
