Same issue on all of my systems as well. Random crashes when docking or undocking. Tried using the repair tool and cleared my cache, neither of which solved the issue.

Same here.

Problem seem to stem from the fact that DX has changed

My client crashes the second my ship undocks. One of my toons is already undocked, so it crashes the second I log in, can't update my training sue because it crashes right away.
#25 - 2014-04-29 02:15:52 UTC
I too am crashing every time I go into a dock. I am trying to repair, but for some reason I am getting only 4kbps on the repair download.
CODE.

+1 for client crashing. Running the repair tool and hoping for the best.
#27 - 2014-04-29 04:04:54 UTC
Got thru the repair process, and I am still having the issue.

It also affects doing a Clone jump

Only a slight newbie with C++, but...

From scanning over this file, it looks like there's an error in the Python wrapper. My (admittedly amateurish) guess is..

From the content of the stack trace, I would speculate that one of the updates to the python scripts wasn't completed properly -- there may be a fragment of old script that is escaping the Repair function (it may not see the script as 'broken', and thus won't try to repair it).

My suggestion is to try a complete, fresh reinstall (to ensure that the client hasn't been hanging onto any old junk data) and see if the game will patch up as it normally does.

My suggestion is you dont know what your talking about and that does not work.

Client was crashing on docking about half the time.

Re-installed and still crashes. Also it crashes when you click "Enter Ship Hangar" to get out of WIS every time.

The same happened to me, if you run the repair tool again it should complete without this error.

We have found a bug which could explain these crashes. It is audio-related, and we hope to have a fix out on TQ asap. It might be worth trying to disable audio until then, as a workaround.

This seems to be working for me, I just docked at 5 different stations without crashing.
