Why Everything is Slow Today?

What is going on with EVE today? Everything I try to download (patch, client, etc) and even the website is slow. I don't have this problem with any other sites.

I hear ya on the slow thing though. CCP is pretty bad tonight. I can't even successfully patch with the repair tool right now. Doubt if I'll get on which is kind of annoying. Tuesdays are usually my "able to play late because the wife is out of the house and the kid is sleeping" game night.

Everything is slow and I keep getting socket closures, usually when docking or undocking. Tested several other games and speedtest, connection is fine.

Yeh I haven't seen it this bad in a really long time.

Same here, I don't have any issues anywhere else. It is only on EVE right now.

Who's your carrier. I've got ATT's U-Verse and it's slow as molasses on a winter day right now.

but interestingly enough, if i use my companies vpn, it works just fine.

ATT U-verse is terrible any time. I get 88KB/sec on its best days. Going back to cable as soon as we move *grumble*.

yeah I had cable before... believe me, if they offered it here I would never have gotten u-verse.
