Maybe you want players also unable to scramble you at gates? maybe a solo play mode without interaction with anything?

Yes, I want this...

Disrupt.

Critically, this allows you to activate a Micro Jump Drive. This is rather an important distinction.

On a battleship yes. It also allows you to burn back to the gate and jump out, which OP probably could have done to avoid his loss.

Quite a few people have mentioned this since CCP gave us Incursions is that when an Incursion hits a HS system it should shut off all concord interference and local naval NPC forces, that system essentially becomes a free for all.

To counter the huge jump in the level of risk increased in running an Incursion in this situation I would have no problem with CCP increasing the payouts and rewards.

It would certainly make things a lot more entertaining Big smile

CCP feels differently.

Entitlement complex much?
"My way of playing is superior to yours, so I get to trample on you, but your way of playing can't ever affect me".

It's not "your way of playing" though is it? It's a computer doing it. You had no part whatsoever in Sansha rats scramming me on a gate because my interceptor didn't align fast enough. And it goes beyond that. Incursions impose constellation-wide cyno jamming, which also prevents the use of jump bridges into incursion areas. That can have significant effects on local conflicts, because of nothing more than a totally random game mechanic. Incursions are cool. Player-generated content is better.

Would like to see incursion rats gate camps in high sec maybe not points but pure dps also roams from station to stations as well as any warp to object.

many people would be melted gloriously.

To easy to roam and go on with your business while invasion is under way.

I am open to anybody's thoughts. Be them for or against this.

As is I would like incursion rats not to be able to scramble at warp gates.

I'd very much like them to do this in HS too...

i would prefer incursion to be removed from the game instead

My top 5 requests:

Incursion rats camping station undocks in hisec.
Incursion rats with fleets of hulks depleting asteroid fields.
Incursion rats scamming in Jita Local.
Incursion rats AFK cloaking.
Incursion rats posting on GD.

what are 'payouts' and 'rewards' you mentioned?

Regular mission rewards? Show me that idiot who will run missions there....
Incursion rewards? They are already higher in low- and 0.0. but it doesn't help players to participate....
Some other rewards?

I, too lost a Flycatcher to incursion rats. It was in nullse though. Kinda srems odd a destroyer can't get passed them, though.

Lol null incursions tend to be nasty, and sometimes it's funny as hell sitting near a gate cloaked watching said incursion rats popping ships :) have seen them catch and pop ceptors back before the recent ceptor changes :D then had fun watching people trying to scramble to loot wrecks round gates :D

I'm also against highsec incursions working differently than elsewhere.
Where do I sign the petition to fix this?

In my experience if you fly a solo nano-Typhoon through a lowsec incursion zone, you will be completely ignored by the incursion rats. You're flying the wrong ship, OP.

Incursion rats are better pvpers than most pvpers.

Maybe the gate guns should shoot at rats that do that

Im sure its been asked before, and not to switch topics.

Why dont gate guns target npc? what faction "owns" the gate guns? are they owned or do they just protect the gate their at?

Weather their owned by a faction or just ment to protect the gate from any hostiles ... Why arent they protecting the gate / system from hostile npc?

Gate guns are for players.

They are invincible, and making them shoot rats would be tantamount to just removing rats from gates entirely, nevermind that it would ramp up server load every time a rat popped into grid around a gate.

They're like CONCORD, meant to deal with interactions between capsuleers.

What bugs me is that in both null and low they scram at gates yet in high sec they don't. Should probably petition that to get them to scram in high sec to as its clearly broken.

Speaking as someone who would rather stick a hose down my own throat that join an Incursion fleet, Id say those of us who refuse to participate in Incursions

1) Cannot even begin to trust anyone in an Incursion Fleet

2) Are too poor

or

3) Think Sansha is actually right.

Well, not much sympathy for the Devil here. You must of been sitting there or traveling really slow to have NPC's target and warp scram you at the gate.

NPC's are much slower on the trigger compared to actual players and most players when traveling will warp to 0 anyway. Sounds like the new AI has beat you at your own game.

I think you have never been to null incursion constellation. They scram like a player-flown inty in assault/hq systems. He must've had the bad luck of warping directly to HQ system. No idea, never fancied LS incs.
