New idea regarding Doomsdays.

Hey everyone!

Id like to take a minute to address my concern with the problems currently facing doomsday devices on titans. We all can agree that doomsdays are, in their current state, overpowered and incredibly unbalanced in regards to their versatility. My solution is both simple and brilliant.

I believe all doomsdays on activation consume 1 PLEX which can be stored on a new, plex exclusive, fuel bay on the titan. The new bay should be around 2,000m3 which gives enough room to store multiple plex for long term engagements. This idea is a bit rough and still new, but I think I might be onto something here that will finally balance titans. Input is appreciated.

See, the problem I see here is that this is going to taking what is already a shifting market, and make the current trend worse. I mean, PLEX prices have been subject to serious inflation lately. To fix this, obviously, we should make PLEX that can be refinable directly from moon goo.This way there would be more PLEX on the market, and we could still see those lovely Titan doomsdays. I think this is what Jesus would do if he were CSM.

So perhaps the problem lies in the fact that the plex market is just too unstable at the moment. I do feel that placing plex in moon goo will seriously shift the power of the market to large nullsec entities which is the opposite of what needs to happen. What we need to do is make plex more accessible to everyone, not just nullsec power blocs.

Maybe we can saturate the plex market by making plex random spawning items that can appear in your cargo hold when mining. It won't be too likely of a chance, but it should offset the market inflation. It also gives the poor little rookies a chance to plex their account if they dedicate themselves to mining.

Yeah, but you can't just make them appear in their cargo. It's should be little spawn cans that run away from you and eventually blink to their deaths. People love having little side games when they're playing eve. It's one of my personal favorite features, right after walking in stations.

Anyway, they should definitely give bonuses to this if you're mining in a capital like a carrier or dread. Also, they should add capital mining lasers for my Moros. It would be really useful for mining veld. <3

I think in addition to a PLEX, you should need to sacrifice a kitten and film it.

This must be the most stupid idea I saw in here...

DD firing dependent of plexes... what about every 1000 shots of your frigate guns cost a plex ?... Ugh
