Awesome, I'm going to read up on all the previous sessions and I would be very happy to join the next session! If they start at 17:00 UTC then I believe that is 12:00 PM Noon in the EST time zone which is the zone that I am in.

any chance of getting a wiki page with all these handy NPTS links in one place on the wiki? just spent close to 30 minutes looking for one centralized listing and found this thread by chance when someone linked the devblog for the second session schedule...

CCP getting sloppy? I don't see any text versions for those who like, you know WORK weekdays in north america. Anyone notice anything spectacular or are these just glorified Dev Roams?

Thank you very much, the link works, loads from the linked site, runs and I can hear it.
It's fast, I wish I could slow it down and have subtitles, but I'll settle for that.
I didn't get a chance to participate in it yet and it bothers me.

Those links don't work on my end, there must be some other code causing it not to load.

I attended the pvp fleet training it was fun over all and I learned a few new things..Allthough the fc should have thought about using frigs around the gate guns I lost both my frigs to gate guns anyway still was fun

English isn't my native language, so excuse my mistakes, pls.

Anti-pvp fleet.
Time by time I want to join some public fleets, but I have many noob questions about interface, roles, etc. So I desided to join this novise pvp fleet to ask another players in it. And I got my answers from players. GMs were just bad, how they should. P
Some notes.
1. Plaing in group implies:
- structure of group;
- group readiness;
- roles.
Structure includes some levels, coordination, order priority etc.
I think, if after joining fleet novice should get some info about fleet structure, buffs, skills, what make player FC, how fleet ports at once, etc. It should be in some short sentences in fleet chanel.
Do we get any info about it? - No.
Group readiness includes listing of players, who is ready to go, who is already on point, who can/can't jump because pvp marks, who is already in voice chat etc.
I understand, that this isn't any kind of ready check in game. But still, 3 or 4 GMs can organize this process, even if they need to create/prepare some paper table with list of all fleet and columns for every stage - join fleet, join voice chat, remove player in fleet from overview, etc. with shot sentences about every point.
Do we get any ready checks - only few voice checks afrer first wipe, actualy No.
Do we get any info about for what we had to be ready - No.
In novice t1 frig fleet it is hard to play another role exept "dead t1 frig", but any pvp fleet should be ready to use some electronic warfire, prevent jumps, drain targets, include logists, inteseptors etc. If novice players can't do it, GMs can. Also it could be great lesson to see how to spy the way, use warp scramblers etc.
Do we get this lesson - after first wipe one from GMs start to spy our way, and one from players Shocked went to buy some electronic warfire modules.
Do we get any info about roles - No.
2. Ships.
Many public pvp chanels day by day run t1 frig pvp fleets with great results. Time by time it even "frig of day" fleets, and ppl link, how they cheap and effective fit their t1 frigs. Novice players have skill restrictions and can't use many things, including some meta 0 modules and standart ammo. But if they complited start missions they can use some standart frigs and modules.
It is predictably, what against that t1 frigs in low sec could be t2-t3 armor tanked ships. So, I think. it will be better to use frigs what ppl know, with right pvp fits, better meta2-3 modules and some right frac ammo (even if it will be only for one reload).
Do we hot right frigs - No. GM gives me condor with rockets (standart caldari frig is merlin) and after I asked him, changed it on merlin with meta 0 blaster and antimater ammo (falloff distance 2.4k Ugh ). Like result, I didn't shot any ship (exept t3, what wiped us), just because I simply wasn't able to get in range.
Do we learn how to link our fits - No.
Did our frigs were able to fight - No. I still dont understand how fleet was able to kill someone - may be they were on autopilot (in lowsec Lol)
Any way, it will be much better if next time GMs will prepare right t1 frigs with right meta2-3 modules (at last weapons) and right frac ammo before event. They always may check public chanels for fits.
3. Travel.
Eve world is discrete so travel in group isn't so trivial task. Ppl fleet may have different security preferences in route, move before raid globe, etc. Also destination should be in zone with good pvp groups.
Do we get instructions about sec preferences - No. In some point my "save" route move me to another way, I jumped in highsec and lost group for 10 mins.
Do we get instructions how to move in fleet before we get destination - No. I understud what FC meened may be in 20 mins.
Also, in my opinion, destination wasn't too good for novice fleet. There are a lot more interesting places around highsecs, firs of all, - lowsec between highsec, like way to Serpent's coil. I'm fliing this way time by time - more "civilian" players on reg chips even transports, and pirates in small gangs.

Conclusion - if GMs aim was to make us think "If you haven't Loki with all skills on 5, you have sit on stantion in highsec and learn skills" they got it.

Have they stopped or can we still join with the proper sequence of command requests?

I have a suggestion. If you plan to hold a fleet and cannot do that for some reason, at least let the players know that the fleet has been canceled.
