Public Channel: ENL-I
Killboard: ENL-I KB / TEST KB

Enlightened Industries is a fun and friendly corporation which more than anything is a community for you to make friends with and feel like you're contributing to something, and helping something to grow. Our management is both capable and forward thinking and this means we are completely self-sufficient and do not rely on anybody else to keep the corp stable. We have a vision, we have goals and we're constantly working towards achieving those goals.

Although we began as an industrial corp the very of nature EvE itself dictated that we had to adapt and change. EvE is a combat orientated game and as such we expect all members to be combat capable. For those new to PvP we offer training and also help with ship fittings; we have a fleet doctrine for you to follow and work towards.

We are now a fully fledged member of TEST Alliance Please Ignore.

We are a truly all-round corp and can offer:

PvP (corp roams (bc/hac/bomber/battlebadger), alliance roams, coalition blobs, supercapital hunts, sov warfare)
PvE (corp mining ops, ratting, plexing, "locust-plexing")
Industry (production, ore buyback)
Logistics (carriers+jump freighter+rorqual+orcas)
Exploration (wormhole raids, suicide runs deep in enemy territory)

And this is what we can offer you:

- Fun and friendly environment which is well organised but also laid back.
- 0.0 warfare. Logistics, caps, supercaps, 1000+ blobs, even lowsec roams and gate camps, we can offer it all.
- POS access for research, invention, copying etc.
- Plenty of PvE action and people to fleet with.
- Regular mining ops and access to 0.0 ore.
- JC access.
- Generous SRP.
- Generous ORE/Salvage buyback scheme.
- TS3, Killboard, etc

We also take the time to teach those new to PvP the ropes and how to succeed. Our corp roams are slow, fun affairs, where we explain everything we're doing and why. We often suicide ourselves just for the thrill of it. We also show you how to fit your ships properly, and also have set fleet doctrines for you to follow and work towards.

For those of you who want to rat we can offer you some exclusive systems in the Fountain region which have Sanctums, Havens, Plexes, Escalations etc. Our biggest drop from a plex so far is 1.6bil and people often fleet up to plex together (kind of "locust-plexing"). For those of you who want to mine we can offer you ABC ores and a generous corp ore buyback scheme. We also do corp mining ops. We have corp industrial projects, such as cap production, so not only can you be a part of that but once you're ready for a capital ship we can offer you one at a greatly reduced cost.

ENLI is above all a community and as such everyone helps each other and works on helping the corp to grow. We're a friendly bunch and go out of our way in helping others. We offer you not just PvP, PvE etc but something that you can be a part of and help to grow. We have plenty of management positions available for you to really make your mark.

Requirements:

- 5mil SP (Exceptions can be made).
- Willing to PvP (we'll teach you).
- Mature and responsible attitude.
- A general "want" to being a part of a community.
- Able to use TS3.
- Be in our public channel ENL-I to discuss your application.

Feel free to join our public channel ENL-I and speak to a recruitment officer.

Just a quicky...

We've settled into Fountain quite quickly. We've only been down here now 4 days but already on our feet and in fleets killing stuff. We've had over 300 kills already. Ratting down here is lovely, everyone is making a ton of isk.

We've instigated our own corp ship replacement policy so everyone who loses a ship on a fleet gets an isk reimbursement.

Loving our operations in Delve at the moment, you may have heard of it as "Freeport Delve". We've been roaming around with Goons and taking sov, and getting some good fights. Gotto give Morsus Mihi and Brick credit where it's due, they certainly bring it!

I thought I would bump this with a battle report I wrote:

What the dilly yo

We were literally minutes away from forming for our corp roam when the sirens go off and Vee calls for every man, woman and child to get in fleet. Obviously something important was happening so we postponed our fleet and joined up with Vee. It turns out we had SBU's in a Brick system onlining and our enemies had formed an incredible amount of people up to take them out.

The battle report link is here: http://kb.pleaseignore.com/?a=kill_related&kll_id=251989

How many????112233

Vee capped our fleet at 200. Our enemies flooded the system with well over 300. They rang their allies and along with Brick and MM were Stain Empire, Coven, Romanian Legion etc. They were all pretty much in armor battleships with tons of logi, compared to our welp fleet. Vee opened the fleet up and it quickly filled to 256. After a lot of waiting we finally cyno'd in, found some targets and unleashed hell.

There were 600+ in local at this point, so they obviously had at least 350. To counter this we basically kept finding the separated fleets and when their friends warped in we warped out. We did this several times, whittling down their fleets each time, until the numbers began to even out. We then had DBRB bring in a reinforcement fleet of about 70. Still, they were all in battleships and should have put up a better fight. I guess that just goes to show how much of a difference an awesome FC makes.

And then..... and then.....

So we kept it up. We would find out where they were, warp in, bang 'em out then warp off when help arrived. After an hour or so of this, and heavy losses on their side, their allies ****** off and MM/Brick docked up, refusing to fight any longer. I believe our spy on their comms reported them claiming "we could kill all of goons but they can alpha carriers so we're not fighting"... Was a bit confusing.

Vee then began to demand in local that all Brick stations are to be freeport (allowing non-blues to dock) or else they would burn. We plowed through their iHub and were almost through the stations shields when a Brick diplo agreed to Vee's demands. This was just the icing on the cake. After stomping these guys into the ground, with Ally pissing in their faces as we did so, they agreed to all of our demands. All of the smack talk, all of the ego stroking, all of the epeen measuring, all gone. TraderJohn of MM then was asking for Vee to convo him so he could agree to the same terms, to which Vee replied "Tell TraderJohn to go eat a ****, all his stations are going to burn". So we all told TraderJohn in local to go eat a ****.

The cherry on the icing on the cake

The battle was so ******* awesome. So far, as of typing right now, we've hit over 80 kills from this battle. I'm positive there's a load more to come too (I personally whored on over 20 pods which haven't pulled yet). Some of us were primaried early on (Ally ally needs a new name), and some of us made it out on fire (check Sato's post). Everyone in ENL-I operated amazingly. Some of us weren't even on Goon comms yet because they're literally brand new in the corp (or ********) and so I was relaying the FC's commands onto our own comms, which were followed to the T.

And do you want to know what the cherry on that icing on that cake is?

Want to know?

.....

Enlightened Industries had 19 motherfucking people in this fleet!

This is just ******* astounding. We were the 3rd largest corp participating in this op, only below DREDDIT and Goonwaffe, both of which have over 2000+ people in them. We put more people into this fleet than most other alliances did. We're flying right now guys, well done to everyone involved and keep it up!

That would mean your active time is before and after down time, with your evening being around 14:00 EVE time? We generally have a good presence 24/7 with our busiest period being from around 18:00 - 04:00. From 08:00 till 14:00 we tend to have around 5-10 people online which isn't bad for an international corp but perhaps not as good as a TZ specific corp.

It's also worth noting that most of the bigger PvP stuff happens around 21:00 - 02:00 EVE time.

ENL-I finished September with a bang! Despite spending the first week in high-sec we managed to beat our previous months killboard score with a not too shabby 866 kills! The fighting in Delve has been amazing, with some great big fleet fights as well as small gang stuff.

The corp has continued to steadily grow and we have a very large active member base.

PvE is great right now with billions of isk being made a day. Ratting, 'plexing, etc etc.

We have begun to FC allied fleets as well as corp roams and are soon putting in our application to join TEST proper.

As always feel free to join our public channel ENL-I.

TEST Alliance Please Ignore

Finally, a new home...

Well ENL-I applied to join TEST proper last week and we were accepted. After spending our 24 hour cool-down period back in empire space suicide ganking hulks we got back down to business in Delve; http://killboard.enl-i.com/?a=kill_related&kll_id=5483 http://killboard.enl-i.com/?a=kill_related&kll_id=5567 + many more.

I have to say how impressed I am with TEST Alliance. Forget the outside image they portray because internally it's a completely different story. They're very well organized with a myriad of logistics options available to all corps, as well as other benefits such as cut price capitals. Everyone is very friendly and the whole atmosphere is relaxed. The entire corp is enjoying it here.

We've been smashing the PvP this month; we're on 883 kills as we speak which breaks our previous monthly record and we're only just half way through the month! We're confident we'll break the 1000 kill barrier. We've bumped up our PvP competition prizes too; there's 100mil isk a week in total prizes weekly, plus monthly prizes of 100mil isk for the top killer, 100mil isk for top solo killer and if you can beat me to the top spot there's an extra 250mil isk involved. In theory you could be earning over half a billion isk for PvP'ing in ENL-I, and our prizes are only going to get better!

Right now we've achieved most of our goals; in one of the bigger 0.0 alliances - stable member base - strong capital fleet (12-14 carriers+, several dreads, JF, 2 rorqs etc) - etc etc. We have therefore put bigger goals into action and we're right now working towards getting our own titan. Having a titan allows us to do lots of cool stuff, like doing corp hot drops etc. It's a big deal acquiring a titan because as you know they're expensive, so we're doing a corp-wide project in getting one. And guess who'll be flying it... :drunken:

The Glue That Binds Us

The way of the ENL-I...

Since joining TEST ENL-I has been making a name for itself. As always we come out on top on the killboard and in TEST this is no exception... well, except of course for Dreddit, but seriously, they have over 2000 members. So we're sitting second on the TEST killboard for November with a comfortable lead. As Dreddit is so big, and TEST's main corp, we in a way see ourselves sitting top. Considering we've only been in TEST now for a month this is an incredible achievement. This week as well 3 of the top 10 killers are ENL-I, with the top two spots being us too. Linky: http://kb.pleaseignore.com/?a=alliance_detail&all_id=499&view=corp_kills

So why are we always top? I believe it is my philosophy with regards to running the corp, especially the PvP side of things. We never force people into fleets. We never ***** about people not fleeting, nor do we criticise losses. We actively encourage people to form their own fleets (with FULL corp reimbursement) and we actively praise people who do fleet. We have PvP competition prizes, with our member Vedova last month netting a total of 550 million ISK in prizes. Half a bil for doing what he loves to do, not bad eh? He looks on track to be winning that amount again this month.

So people in ENL-I are free to do as they please. We encourage, we lead by example and we reward. This is why we have such great active numbers in fleets, and such great killboard activity and why we receive many public mentions on the TEST forums of our participation. Full SRP for all fleets and all ships (barring faction) also helps too

THE FUTURE!

So what lies in store for ENL-I? We have pretty much achieved everything we originally set to do...

It is important that we have goals so that we do not stagnate. So after getting into TEST and finding our feet we began looking to the future. Our next goal was simple: build a supercap fleet.

Supercaps OMFG@!@£@$@"£$

A titan was our objective, so we could do our own hotdrops and what not. We thought it would take a while to get the ISK for one (40bil approx for the ship+fittings + 20bil+ for the character); that's a lot of isk. But no, it took us less than 2 weeks thanks to some very generous members. We therefore now have the isk for a corp titan. We are also looking at getting a Nyx too.

We have other members who have a Nyx purchase in the works and of course we have a fairly large cap fleet as it is. Meaning within the next 6 months ENL-I will have a respectable cap and supercap fleet to go with its subcaps.

Next? Sov

Just had an absolutely huge fight against Raiden in Querious. They dropped about a dozen titans + supercaps + caps on us. We called for reinforcements, must have had close to 400 in total spread across 3 fleets, maybe more. It is still early days yet but a battle report is here: http://eve-kill.net/?a=kill_related&kll_id=11590650 - it's all a bit skewiffy but at the moment it looks as though Raiden lost around a dozen carriers. We were very close to killing a couple of titans but they kept doomsdaying our dictors - a problem we won't have in a few weeks.

It's nights like this which remind me why I love this game; everything is quiet on the Western front when suddenly a Jabber broadcast goes out: "Hostile titans tackled, need reinforcements ASAP" and then you see whole fleets fill up with people rage-logging in. Massive scrap then ensues.

I think we edged out on top, isk wise, although we did lose the majority of our fleet but the fight was amazing so it doesn't really matter who won or lost. Just another day down in nullsec with Enlightened Industries, killing carriers errrday!

ENL-I is now over 150 members strong! Quite a milestone to reach, we're not even a year old yet!

Things are going well in the corp, we have a great team of managers and directors; I know that if I go AFK for a period of time the corp will still be ran (like yesterday for example I went on a bender and didn't log on (shock horror), came back and everything was fine P )

Winter is here

I'll keep this weeks update fairly short. Patch day tomorrow, I'm sure you all know what that means. I'm personally going to enjoy being able to fight on the field with Titans without our fleet being doomsdayed.

For the next week or so ENL-I, with TEST, will be continuing with its Providence deployment (with ENL-I simultaneously deploying in Delve alongside our friends in Goons). Once the patch has had its mandatory patches and bug fixes we will then be redeploying somewhere else, currently 'secret' (most people know) and we're expecting some fierce fighting. Even in quiet months ENL-I manages to get almost 1000 kills, with 16 capital ship kills this month too, so we're pretty excited about what the next couple of months will bring!

Recruitment has gone really well and we're about to bring in a group from another corp (the CEO and active player base) which is going to bump us up to 170 ish members. We now have regular FC'ing going on in the corp and industry is going well too. We're looking at implementing a mentor system for new recruits to help them get to grips with things like TEST comms, politics, travelling etc. Getting the framework in place now because we will undoubtedly be approaching 200 members soon.

As always join our public channel ENL-I for a chat.

Flight of the Testicles!

Strength of the Corp

It has been a while since my last update. Things in ENL-I became a little chaotic recently; one group of players (who owned their own corp) came over to us for a more relaxed and stress-free game play, and another group from another corp came over, meaning our numbers quickly shot up by 20 almost overnight. Normal recruitment continued too, and we're now almost at 190 members. This sudden growth meant we had to quickly reinforce our management structure to ensure we stayed organized. I am therefore happy to announce that ENL-I has introduced a mentorship in which new members are assigned a mentor (TZ specific) to make their transition into the corp that much easier. This ensures our new members have someone they can go to when they need help, allowing them to gain confidence and encouragement to participate.

Alongside this ENL-I have been working on its capital and supercapital strength. A corp-wide survey is under way and we will be deploying our capital ships alongside the rest of the alliance's for PvP operations. This is an exciting time for those in ENL-I who can fly capital ships and takes our combat capabilities to the next level.

Strength of the Alliance

TEST Alliance Please Ignore has been working hard recently on increasing its military might, and has engaged in several operations. Most recently we "blue'd" Pandemic Legion and also NCDot. Flying with PL is a great learning experience and we have been having a ton of fun with them. It's also refreshing to see that they lemming just as much as we do - How long this friendship will last I do not know, but for the time being we are enjoying experiencing different aspects of warfare and especially enjoying using supercaps.

December has been a fantastic month for us so far. In just two weeks we have 900 kills, which includes 257 Battlecruiser kills, 217 Battleship kills and 12 capital kills! The best part of this however is the fact that we do not force people into fleets, we are just a naturally heavy PvP corporation! And while all this killing and pillaging is going on we're building capital ships and doing other industry related operations. Our first carrier, a Chimera, is currently in the oven and we'll soon be building a Revelation (for me, as it happens!).

A Vision of the Future

Enlightened Industries has grown beyond all expectations. In less than a year we have grown from 1 person to almost 200. We have over a dozen capital ships, almost 2 dozen if you include jump freighters and rorquals. We have a great mixture of older experienced players and fresh faces. For the second month running we are second on the alliance killboard, which is a fantastic achievement.

But where do we go from here?

Right now we're working on ensuring our management structure remains strong, and building upon it so that we can continue recruiting. As well as this we are continuing to work on our industrial side. Capital production is now under way, so we have already increased our capacity in this regard. Oh, a titan would be nice too...
