Hello there Liam, I am humbled you believe my alliance to be so important to be turned into a Faction, but however, we are actually a Player Alliance, and will sadly not be receiving our own Ship Line

I believe you mean Mordus Legion, and for the sake of being correct, this would not be a Pirate Faction ships line, if indeed true, but instead a regular old Faction ship line, such as SOE and ORE.

First, it's "Mordu's Legion", under the leadership of Mordu.

And even though SOE is humanitarian, their ships are considered "pirate faction" because of the dual race requirements.

Faced with that, Mordu's Legion is a mercenary empire, so it's pretty reasonable to consider them "pirate" anyhow :P

Anyway... hey goons, we can finally be the RP Alliance you think we are if we get the Mordus Ships!

I believe they are in fact referred to as "Non-Empire Factions" as pointed out by: Jean-Paul Hutchinson just a few posts ago.

One can assume that frigates are one of the categories due to the new sub menus on SiSi. "Non-Empire faction" under frigates

They changed the SISI name for Pirate frigates to Non-faction. Probably for the reasons you mentioned.

Well, it's kind of BS if the AT prize ships fill the first category, but that would take care of two hulls.

Category two is probably a pure-missile based Pirate faction line up. That's 3 hulls. I'll be happy with this as long as they don't use the Raven or Scorpion for the hull. A missile-Rokh would be cool - or even better a totally new model.

Category three is probably the T2 mining frigate.

CCP should add more NPC 0.0 space to open it up and liven things up: the Stepping Stones project.

Pirate Faction? Like they will become akin to the Angels or Guristas? If so, then no, they're not. Meant to be they are getting their own ships like SOE did

it also can't be pirate battlecruisers as they would need 6 ships for that alone ...

i think it will be

- 1 .. industrial/exploration/pve ship...... maybe expanding ORE/SOCT line
- 1 .. ship that offers a new mechanic to the game of some sort .....
-4 T2 Battlecruisers of the main races .. although not sure what their role would be .. perhaps Interdiction bc's

T3's need to be versatile so no rigs are necessary ... they should not have OP dps and tank

ABC's should be T2, remove drone assist, separate HAM's and Torps range, -3 HS for droneboats

Honestly I'd like to see a new T2 battleship class, one that takes the hulls of the tier 3's (Rokh/Abaddon/Hyperion/Maelstrom), and have it fulfill the role of a bigger HAC.

That or finally some t3 frigates and battleships.

Assuming CCP introduces a Mordus Legion ship line AND they are reasonably good, said ships stand to become the most expensive ships in the game in their respective classes unless CCP gives that faction more stations and agents.

Just saying.

I hope you're not introducing T3 frigates.
