Thanks for the kinds words, all.

To quickly clarify, I had a meeting with Torfi and Thor a couple months back just to make them aware of the project. They told me that they view this as independent journalism, and have no interest in this being a legal matter.

They offered to draw up really basic contracts allowing the use of copyrighted images and whatnot sop there's nothing to worry about there. With that said, all of us agree that CCP's involvement in this had to be the absolute minimum (the minimum basically being them saying, "s'all good. Do your thing.") And that they absolutely can't be involved in editing or approving content.

Im sure if you put the call out, youd find that there are some very talented artists in the playerbase who would help throw some fantastic artwork your direction for the book...

Locked. While this might be Eve related, the forums are not an advertisement board.

I would also advise you to get in touch with CCP via support ticket as this project may run into intellectual property rights issues. If CCP decide to endorse it, they can also override my lock at a later time, but until then, no advertising here.

Edit: just saw the comment about having already talked to CCP about IP rights. Never mind. Advertising RL products for RL money is still not allowed though.

I have a Lack of Faith in the ISD that they go after a thread without Verifying CCP stating Okay first :P

Second, Already backed awhile ago and would LOVE to see this Be a hardcover. Might get another 25$ if it goes Hard cover!

Yeah let's stay away from discussing over zealous thread locking and discuss how awesome this book will be.

To the author:

I hope you don't take this the wrong way, but I haven't backed your kickstarter. The reason for this is I heavily disapprove of kickstarter on the grounds that so many projects just swallow up people's money.

However, if this book is produced and sold, I will definitely purchase a copy of it.
