I decided to watch some incursion fleets do their thing yesterday when I noticed a couple of the systems were listing dust bunnies in local. No doubt those poor scrubs where silently begging for help as the l33t sansha forces pwned them on the ground with their shiny faction MTAC's.

As I once passed through a system with a dozen dust bunnehs in-station, I asked out of curiosity, what they where all doing there.

The response from one among them, of being jailed in a station watching a TV with only one channel, unable to leave or come and go as they wished, and being only good for dying in fighting someone else's battles, broke my heart...

I shed a single manly tear to this sad story, wiped it, then continued on my happily unrestricted and merry sandbox way.

Who knows, maybe, perhaps, if I'm lucky, one day I will drop orbital ordnance right splat on that one most melancholy of dust bunnehs head, and make his life all the more miserable. That would be a killmail I would cherish.

Capsuleer-Dust Bunny interaction is broken. They seem to bounce randomly all over EVE meaning even when they do call for bombardment its really only the NPC that can help out. There also seems to be no advantage to either EVE or Dust players having the bombardment done by a capsuleer instead of a NPC.

DUST is still going?

I just hope the two of them are having a good time.

This is not a signature.

Eve Offline usually shows between 20,000 and 45,000 online in tranquillity sometimes more. Taking into account multiboxers and bots that is probably between 10,000 and 20,000 humans logged in.

Dust on the other hand commonly shows between 500 and 5000 logged in depending on time of day.

Dust FW orbitals can only be dropped from a eve player NPC orbitals were removed from that game mode some time ago.

I called DUSTbunnies "dustbunnies" in local once....

The things I learned about my mothers bedroom activities that day were disturbing.

It also pretty much proved that at the time, dustbunnies were predominantly teens with mommies pilfered credit card.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

Exactly this.... Please for the love of Space Jeebus, let us turn OFF the bunnies in local.

Jint Hikaru - Miner / Salvager / Explorer / SpaceBum In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

I cry myself to sleep everynight that DUST has not been more completely integrated with EVE.
Unfortunately, it seems the same lack is slated for Valkyrie too :(

WHYYYYYYYYYYYY!? :,(

I tried claiming one as a pet once but was immediately informed of several questionable acts my mother was apparently involved in.

The funny part was alot of them had no idea what EVE was and were asking how they could take their helmet off in their pic
