Doing missions without being hated by other factions?

Hey, I was just wondering if there is a way to counter the fact that I lose standing with other factions while doing security missions (outside of faction warfare), if I want to get 5.0 standing with a gallente corp how negative I'll be with other factions? Yes I started to check eve survival, but sometimes (read most of the time) I don't have choice since I can't decline them without losing standing with my own faction and corp.

Correct me if I'm wrong but after some research I understand that people always stay over -2 with opposite factions while having enough corporation standing to run missions, is it correct? But then I don't understand how, since you lose faction standing while upping your corporation standing, which doesn't make sense to me but not much does with this game to be honest >_<

Thanks for your help.

Run missions for a corp that has multiple level 4 agents in one system (or neighbouring systems). Whenever you get a mission you can't decline due to the 4 hour timer, go run missions for the other agent until the timer is up.

Easy version:

Pick a corp with each of the 4 major factions.
Run L4's for all of them.

Never accept missions v.s. the 4 major factions.

Run missions with the one you have the lowest standings with first.

You will end up with all positive standings with all but the pirates that you are always shoot on site with anyway.

If you see me online convo me I will personally help you chain run level 4 missions and if you pull a double faction set and have a 4 hour wait I will grab a lvl 4 and we can run it that way. Solo it gets hard running missions when you land a mission you have to wait 4 hours to decline. Ask your corp mates if they want to chain run missions, when your mission agent hands you a bum mission your corpmates should be able to grab a mission and you can split the standings gain. To many people in the fleet means lower splits and less profit best case scenario is 2-3 people in a fleet. This greatly helps you be able to chain run missions, and raise your standings fast without damaging your standings with the other racial factions.

You do not lose faction standing while upping your corporation standing.
You only lose faction standings if you gain standings for an enemy faction or when shooting ships of that faction.

So, if you just want 5.0 with a corporation, simply don't do storyline missions and refuse missions that would have you shoot ships of empire factions and you can get to 10.0 with a corp and still have no impact on faction standings.
