Kind of true, merlins were always powerful ships and daredevils haven't changed but they require you to actually comit and are more vulnerable than you realise.

Gut so, Dramiels were for those, who didn't want to lose a ship and it was very hard to find a fight for a Dramiel pilot. I have already thought, that now Dramiels will be more useful.

It is quite interesting theme, though I can't see here any relevance to Crime & Punishment. Maybe besides that "Dramiel" is a scriptural name and calling people "to kill Dramiels" sounds like immoral euphemism. Even if that is a bad joke, it is actually on the verge of law.
