You mean like the reason why Erotica 1 got banned?

I'd predict you'd have a lot of 'blank' spaces under the reason part.

I like my idea better :D To make it more intresting it would run like this

200km X 200km caged area would be put in the center of Jita. The only thing in the caged area would be astroids. Only ship available to the punished would be noob ships. The only way out is to mine 100M M3 of veldspar using nothing but the 1 civilian mining laser provided. No civilian weapon systems allowed. If you were caught cheating by using bots you would never have the chance to get out.

Now that would be real punishment :D

That's punishment, because he has no idea that he is shadow banned,

That would be so awesome, you can log in just fine, but you don't show up in local, you can't target anyone, and you cannot trade with anyone, but anything, sell anything, create contracts, or accept contracts. And peoples watch list does not show you as online. You can talk in any channel you want, but only you can see it.

And with that last line I realized that would actually make you the perfect spy. Completely undetectable.

Should we bring this up in F&I?

Except it would very quickly become the "Wall of Martyrdom" to some players, which would encourage bannable activities.

There are plenty of people who would get banned just to have their name on display, forever.

If you really want to punish players, force them to read MODERATE the GD forums.

fixed it for ya. Blink

Hey now I have my limits. Might as well cook a few puppies for breakfast if we want to go that far.

Another way we could punish players is force them to do cosplay at fanfest. But that could harm a lot of bystanders. Shocked

Nice idea.

To expand on it a little, you could force them to solve a simple puzzle every 30 seconds to ensure they don't go AFK/bot. Failure to solve the puzzle will turn them suspect and an announcement will be broadcasted in Jita alerting everyone that they're a free kill. Of course, if their mining noobship dies, they have to start over.

or just have them be killable at all times while mining their stuffs.

also, they should not be allowed to move their clone from their respective noob system, requiring them to travel back to jita every time someone kills them.

A better alternative would be nerfing highsec. For example we can remove concord which will make it much easier to punish those bad people.

This post was loving crafted by a member of the Official GoonWaffe recruitment team. Improve the forums, support this idea: https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&find=unread&t=345133

Makes no sense.

Removing CONCORD will buff highsec a lot more than you would believe.

People will band together and protect themselves. Idiots will leave the game
and more hardcore players will come in. New players would finally get around to
actually GET the game and learn to survive within a matter of hours,
because other players will see the need of teaching of them.

It would be far more cutthroat and realistic, as in much better
mirroring natures laws instead of having people wrongly assume they are safe anyway.

People would also spread out more and not concentrate that much in highsec,
because nobody would want to be around where many unaffiliated others are.

It would be much better than most weaklings try to make us believe.

Would it cost subs? Yes. Would it pay off? Most likely!
