Whatever it winds up being, I will say that "EVE: Legion" would be a fantastic name for an EVE-based RTS or 4X game if CCP chose to expand the EVE brand into yet another product.

This could actually be anything, or nothing. It could be the name of the new tv series, it could be a new game, it could be renaming of a game (Dust to Legion) it could be any number of things... or it could be nothing. As in its a conceptual placeholder that pans out to not a damn thing in the future. Maybe we will hear something at fan fest though.

If CCP based an entire expansion on the Legion... I can't say I would complain. It's my favorite T3 anyway.

Maybe. It would be a way to get around the 'exclusivity' part. Or just a 'you know we really hate the f-ing name Dust 514, it was suppose to be a code name... lets make it more inline with eve and change the name.'

No, if you use that site that linked, it seems to list all CCP's TM's, i'm not seeing any for any eve expansion. So I do not think they would suddenly TM a single expansion. My guess is, as I said, a rebrand and a totally new product
