So the only facts we know are, that he is perm banned while under investigation. Which is not quite the same is it?

You know, when you were stating that E1 getting banned for those actions meant that those actions were bad for the game, even though you could neither know the reason for the banning, nor the effect of E1s actions on the game.

Yes, you do need to explain that when you are stating that as proof that scammers and bonus rooms are bad for the game, especially when both of those things still exist in EVE.

And the CSM never stated a damn thing. One CSM member stated something, which isn't "The CSM". As for the community, it's only a vocal minority on either side, the bulk of the community don't care either way, so quit acting like the whole of the community is like "Oh yeah, we super support this", it's pathetic. And CCP would state that wouldn't they. That;s what companies do. That doesn't make it truth. 2 days before they sacked a bunch of their staff and cancelled WoD they also stated that WoD wasn't being cancelled.


Arguing this matter either way is moot since CCP does not disclose this kind of personal information, and if they did tell the CSM, they would be bound by NDA not to disclose it.

Banned? Probably. For what exactly? I can guess, but I doubt it's limited to what players may believe was the reason. For instance: I've been witness to at least a couple of GM warnings that turned into bans because the players in question would not shut up and accept their punishment.

Who knows? Maybe he broke one of the many other rules in the EULA/ToS. Maybe he pretended to be Chribba. That's the point though, nobody knows, including you.

Guys try to stay on topic. Its a discussion about the validity and virtue of CSM.

If you dont agree with my point of view you dont have to.

Bringing duscussions about other issues is not really what i was hoping for.

Asking for threads to be closed on the basis that you plain dont agree with the op is not really very diplomatic and is really rather childish.

I guess if CSM brings some people a modicum of fun and amusement then it could be a good thing. I do feel that most of the CSM members are either Goon or Goon sympathetic. It is a widley known fact that Goonswarm have stated as one of thier objectives, as a gaming community, is to destroy every game they land in.

I dont believe the CSM has real validity and only marginal virtue.

I think its a bit of a club, for the "most valued customers" to get free stuff, and thats cool in its own way too.

I FIRMLY disagree that its is Gewn-controlled, or that the Gewns are overall bad for the game or the playerbase.

The supposed "other topic" came up as it was, for all intents and purposes, created by a CSM member, and opposed by a CSM member, so to say its not of relevance to a conversation about the CSM I feel would be ignoring an important recent event which has brough a lot of spotlight to the CSM and what it does.

Your position is logically untenable.
Either Erotica1 got banned for:
1) Something she did.
2) Something she did not do.
