I have been playing EVE of and on for many years now. I have been an exclusive solo mission runner my entire career, and would like to know what other options are out there for me. I am a 20mil Amarr exclusive pilot and can fly any tier 1 ship. I would like to continue to do something related to combat, but just don't know what options are open to me. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

20m SP, and you can only fly tier 1 ships? Shocked
/me really hopes you meant Tech 1.

Sorry slip of the fingers. I can fly all tech 1 Amarr, and most tech 2 Amarr. Tried my hand at mining and just couldn't do it.

My first question is, you have played for many years and you only have 20mill sp, i take it you have been off and on?

There are many paths to take in eve, and i am unsure how you have not bumped into the sadbox elemant so far?

My best advice is to take "some" risks, get out there and enjoy the game. EVE is bigger then high sec by a massive margin.

In empire space you dont get to experiance the politics of major aliances, or the nuances of worm hole corporations, you dont get to fight for something, and say "you was there". Build friends, Build Aliances, and let others Burn!

PS Arun Sun, (or a similar name) was originally the leader of the stain aliance back in 2004(ish) - he now works for CCP, so i hope this is not you or you need a slap ;-)

I did take a few years off for IRL reasons. Its the fact that EVE is so much larger than the small sphere I have inhabited that I'm a bit intimidated about what awaits me outside the Empire.

EVE is becoming shallow and puerile; it will satisfy neither the veteran nor the "WoW" type crowd in the transition.

It would help if you accpted in-game invitations for conversations... its not as intimidating as you might think.
