What does this mean to me?

If I'd bought PLEX in November 2011 at 400mil ISK when I couldn't afford it, I'd now be able to sell it to you at 740mill ISK when you can't afford it.

BUT

In March 2012 Isogen (77.23), Nocxium (538.11) and Pyrite (5.73) were shadows of their April 2014 selves (130.76, 744.01 and 12.03 respectively.

What does that mean?

I think it means prices go up.

It means to me that PLEX prices have kept up with potential player income and overall inflation.

To me it's a sign the in game economy is booming.

If people couldn't afford to pay those prices in ISK, then they wouldn't. Alternatively, if it was having a negative impact on CCP, they would do something to deflate the price.

That the price continues to inflate is a sign that the community can sustain it at the moment and the high price encourages people to purchase PLEX/GTCs with real money to sell on the market.

Demand > supply , for most a win-win situation + even with the current price, if it takes you more than a week to get the isk together for a plex, you are doing something terribly wrong.
