[Market Idea] Sweet, my sell order is complete? Which one??

As a mediocre station trader I always find it frustrating when I log in to see one or a few of my 130+ market orders has finished.
I have to then search my wallet window to try an figure out which order it was that finished and waste a lot of time doing so.

BTH I might simply not know of the in game way to do this.

Surely there has to be a better way!??

How about a simple journal entry after the last item in an order sells?

Example,
'Sensor Booster II Market order complete'

'Sensor Booster II Market sell order complete. 0/50.'

Yes/No?

Maybe I'm misunderstanding what you're after here, but doesn't the "transactions" tab already take care of this? it's where my station trading alt goes to discern what has been sold or bought.

I know exactly what you mean!

Ideally, a completed market order would get highlighted e.g. in red and the amount column would say e.g. 0/50. Then there would be a button at the bottom to 'clear completed orders' which would get rid of all the ones that were finished.

It sucks that orders are removed automatically once they are completed.

Yes it does do exactly that, the problem is when you have 130+ different items for sale and maybe just one or two orders (well any really) finish completely, ie. Sold out or Completed buy order.

There is no clear way to tell if an order reaches zero unless you know all 130 items your selling very well and can glance at the orders tab and spot which one it is.

I once used the Neocom app to check this as it records expired orders, however there is a bug in the app at the moment that crashes the app if you have too many market orders so its currently uselss for that

this idea - supported!

For posting an idea into F&I: come up with idea, try and think how people could abuse this, try to fix your idea - loop the process until you can't see how it could be abused, then post to the forums to let us figure out how to abuse it..... If your idea can be abused, it WILL be.

This or some variation thereof would work rather nicely. +1

As much as it seems like a good idea it seems hard to believe you haven't had Evemon doing this for you before now?

I've only in the last 6 months started using evemon, I wasn't aware this was a function of it! I'll have a look when I get home, definitely haven't been using it for that purpose :s

Edit: Are you sure its Evemon you meant? I cant see options for seeing market activity anywhere

Evemon does it. You have to turn "Market" on in the drop-down menu on the individual character, underneath where it tells you known skills, skills at V, Total SP etc

Such orders need to auto-cleared after a certain period of time, say 7 or 14 days. But yes, with that addition, it would be an excellent feature.

On your market character sheet click the Advanced Features dropdown (furthest right icon under the portrait), select Market.

Then Tools>Options>General>Updates and make sure Market Orders updates at some point.

Buy out one of your orders to see it in action.

Be amazed.
