You probably have that SP from the changes to Destroyer and Battlecruiser skills if you didn't have them maxed and the appropriate Frig/Cruiser skills high enough. Might be worth checking in case there's a paricular race you would be gutted not to have Dessie/BC in.

Otherwise, its worth using the SP for stuff you are not remapped for when you're focus training for something specific.

I do not think you got unallocated skill points from the BC/Dessie re-balance ... you just got a 4 for 1 deal in trained skills. Every point trained in generic gave you a point in each of the new racials when generic was wiped.


A similar thing is about to happen with drones with the summer expansion.
