BTW tech II BCs and Destoryers are already in the game they are called Command Ships and Interdictors. If tech III hadn't stepped on the utility of Commands of either type they'd still be a worthy goal for people to train at the far end of subcap sp if they were so inclined. As for Dictors, they just got a stealth nerf and from what I hear not enough of the base destroyer buff.

Hell, I'd rather have them expand the wis stuff, than not fix the many obsoleted or near obsoleted ships already in the game (maybe by scrapping the whole tier concept in favor of roles) and instead add more new ships destroying utility of ships already here.

We don't need new ships. We need reworking and rebalancing of ships and features already in the game (fw, sov, mining and industry . . .).

Yeah if Dust is still on track for next summer I'd assume the next expansion will probably feature heavily around that while bringing more bug fixes/tweaks.

Comets already exist but they now look like crap. Also mining lasers don't work on them.

What do you mean? Where can we go to see one?

Also, with regards to faction warfare, I think that there should be some unique rewards for people who do it. Maybe you have to have a certain Navy rank as a prerequisite "skill" for flying certain ships. You could use the unpublished faction police frigates as a starting point. Essentially rank in FW should have its benefits, and there should be something for FW people that differentiates them from other professions. ...my 2isk

actually scanning down belts just to mine would FIX completely the mining bot problem. you would have to have some very intricate scripts to get that to be bottable. (aside from once scanned down you can bookmark it)

I was also hoping that planets with rings would eventually be a "warp to" location with a mix of asteroids and ice deposits.

i think a new capital ORE ship with mobile refining capability would help add players to low and 0.0. yah sure you can compress ore with the Rorqual but then you gotta haul the ore out and still refine it in High sec, if you want to make something out of it right away. (refining times still sucks in low/0.0)

The ship I would have in mind would have to be an ORE Capital ship. It's only purpose is refining. It would need a jump drive and bonuses to refining based off of your industry/refining skills. Decent size "mineral" bay only, no ORES. And if you were feeling nice maybe fitting service.

Looks cool, but if the stats are the ones shown here, it is terrible. Twice as heavy (mass) as the Comet, with 1/6 the base hit points. I suspect this is a NPC boat of some sort and not the ship you were referring to, though.

Well... I don't want it necessarily for PVP. If I were on a battlefield with a bunch of tanks and sabot snipers, I'm sure not taking in a police cruiser. It just looks cool and would be fun to screw around with. Maybe get it or points toward it as a reward for taking down bounties on players? ...a trophy of sorts for bounty hunting... would be cool. Maybe even work it into FW

Hey tech II drake can be ANYTHING. After all the Ferox hull magically turned into a missile ship with the Nighthawk, which still needs a PG buff btw. Same transformation happened with Damnation Straight.

Also for CCP: Buff Command Ships! Buff Command Ships! Buff Command Ships!
