Who the hell at CCP decided that the fleet broadcast info now has to be 800 characters long, with the only important information at the very end of the line?

<02:34> Fleet Notification: (Broadcast) Dradius Clavantia Politely Request That The Fleet Belonging To Dradius Calvantia Do Their Best To Eventually, After Spending Five Minuets Reading This, Align To The TXW-EI Stargate.

Seriously, no one wants to stretch their fleet broadcast window across the entire screen just to be able to see the important information that was previously conveyed in a reasonable amount of space. This is TERRIBLE game design, and a good example of CCP employees not taking the time to understand how what they are working on is actually used in game.

Indeed, dumbest change I've seen in a while. Please revert it back immediately (as in hotfix at dt today).

Sigh... between this, the ****** up map, and the last minute dictor nerf I think my outlook on this patch has considerably soured.

That's all that needs to be there.

Didnt notice this, too busy trying to fix my overview and font and failing due to scaling artefacts and unruly windows jumping around the screen. But yes, this has to be changed right away.

I noticed this too last night, it would be great if the broadcast text could be nice and short again at the bottom of the fleet window.

On the other hand, having the little icon of what type of broadcast was made in the watch list was a nice addition. You can actually hover over the icon and see the full broadcast text from there.

This! The pre-patch lacked the broadcasters name but all the need to do is make it just like this. Maybe timestamp too... Here's an idea, let us choose the columns, that would be sweet :)

This would be perfect.

I posted in the Issues thread about it. Who knows?

Looking into this. We can probably eliminate some of that excess wordage

Ah yes the wording for the align.

I laughed at the wording - and so did the fleet I was in.

This is an example of a programmer playing a joke but forgetting to change it back, and QA not catching it.

Means, that somewhere along the line, someone(s) didn't do there job right.

All warfare is based on deception and logistics. Battles and soldiers are secondary priorities.
