So I am stuck, I have been jumping around these gates for an hour and have yet to be able to find the ship.
Any help

After each warp drop a can with one ammo unit and name it "room X" where X=1 for room 1 and so on.
This will let you know that you been there before and take the opposite route when trying next time.
Also you should check below the gates since if my memory serves me right "the mysterious ship" lurks
around down there.

The comments section at the bottom of the page states that players had to jump thru those gates multiple times before seeing the ship.
