Industry Changes

Impressed Industry is getting some love, expecially like the proposed all in one screen to see everything to help reduce clicks. Only thing I don't like the sound of is removing the ability to keep BPO safe in station when using them at a POS in system.

Looking forward to seeing the rest of the propsed changes. What are others thoughts on these changes?

It'll be interesting to see how this shakes out. The removal of slots is great if you can use supply chain management to install a job at a different station in your system. Otherwise it will be a choice for small corps and high sec manufacturers to drastically reduce profit margins or do annoying moves. I do t think the changes make pos for manufacturing in hi sec viable.

T2 BPO Producers have some interesting choices...

Produce in POS, meaning move your T2 BPO collection to the POS...

or

Pay up to 14% of the item you are producing value to build in a station...


Also RAM for the first month or so is going to be in extreme demand. While you can produce it 100 times faster, it will take a while for that to catch up to immedicitly needing 100 times more to produce.

Interesting times ahead...
