First off I know that development of eve shouldn't siphoned off to unimportant things and with that said I had an idea earlier

Whenever I was in my captains quarters I'd always be lonely. (some probably know the feeling) and I used to think why not let docked friends into your captains quarters? But then I thought meh. But I was spinning my Pos bubble today and thought "this is lonely". Once EVE gets to a point where people wont start a mass strike when they add cosmetic items to the game I would like to see Pos Quarters type thing. More like a general area similar to a VIP room or something. You would have to dock your pod to get in and it would be complete with a private chat window ( Maybe even that voice thing no one uses O_O ). Either way just wanted to share my Idea with others stuck spinning their Pos bubbles from time to time.

If people feel lonely in a virtual room in a video game,
they should log off and seek help. Or, at least, friends.

That ringing in your ears you're experiencing right now is the last gasping breathe of a dying inner ear as it got thoroughly PULVERISED by the point roaring over your head at supersonic speeds. - Tippia

I would like to see a dust style game play where you can go into a wreck and get stuff. Missions that you have to go pick up a certain item, or clear it of a vermin infestation, or rouge drones. Or maybe the station has been taken over by pirates and you have to clear it.

This is what the Dust mechanic should have been used for. It would be great to grab the nearest pubbie "space barbie" wearing their favorite hello kitty t-shirt they just bought with a plex, and use them as a meat shield to get you to a new cover spot/vantage point. Decced station campers could get their door kicked in and a couple frags tossed in their faces, etc etc.

I'd pay a sub for that game for sure. No F2P or P2W bullsht either.

.

They say most of your brain shuts down on the EvE forums. All but the impatient side, and the sarcastic side. No wonder I'm still awake.

All of the above.

Agreed.

EVE is a game about spaceships and there's an enormous amount of work to do on the in-space gameplay before players (or developers) are ready to sacrifice it for a totally new type of gameplay - CCP Rise

EVE is not in active development stage. Don't expect anything but debugs and re-skins + maybe couple new ships.

I can't even summon the effort to be offended by a person who signs their posts.

You need the key to open the CQ door before you can walk around the station. Don't you have a CQ doorkey?

After spending some time in C&P there is no chance I'd let anyone into captain's quarters, excellent rating or otherwise.

This would be cool as long as I can see out the window to watch people bashing my POS while sipping a space drink and smoking a space cigar, and maybe have a console in the corner for controlling POS guns.

I'm sorry, how is floating in your pod any different?

I mean, so long as you don't let the pods touch, you'll be fine.

I have so much fun disagreeing with you it's almost a shame I have to say this is spot on.
