Would love to get Drone Interfacing to VI honestlyTwisted

Edit: grammar

Well interfacing is being nerfed come June from 20% per level to 10% per level ... so I suppose level VI would at least give you some of that nerfage back.

But the base stats of the drones will be buffed. I'm a drone user and overall i like the coming changes.

Agreed. People with Interfacing IV will technically be getting buffed.

The mild hassle will be for people who will need to train Combat Drone Operation V so they don't get stuck having to train two separate skills to V later on.

Indeed its a good reworking. I am already training scout skills to V on my alts to pick up the free SP.

Which does not change the fact that Interfacing V will now become "very useful to have" rather than "totally essential" .

Adding 1 or 5 lvls to every skill does not mean expanding the universe.
it just means more time sinks in skills any why their are people in game v
with every skill like me , no one is near maxing every skill to warrent that change.
the only people like that are so specialized they get bored easily

Maxing every skill is not the goal of this game.

Commerce would expand with increased trade traffic. The universe would expand with faster travel speeds.
Combat would expand with greater destructive powers vs greater defensive powers.

And this is the part CCP would love:
The OCD people would stay subbed longer just to complete those hard to finish Level VI skills + the bragging rights.

I had the feeling when I saw this thread that you use this as an argument for your support: and now that it has emerged your idea can be discarded. The only thing that happens here is the same people end up in the same relative positions and power creep gets introduced. What did you hope to achieve exsctly?

Like the good logibro I am, I would like to remind you all of Logistics VI, Remote Armor rep VI and Cap emission VI. At which point remote reps and energy transfers will come down to 7.5% of the original activation cost. Predicting Cap stable guardians.

Would it really break the game?

Serious answer: Sadly, many ship bonuses take only level 1-5 into account. Take the skills removing 20% per level from the CPU-requirements of stuff from covert-ops or recon ships, for example: Those ships would all have to be changed, or people with recon 6 would suddenly get extra CPU out of fitting their cloaks.

I really don't want to know how many similiar skill-bonus relationships are hidden in the database. And CCP would not only have to change every skill in the game for your idea, they would have to change all ships again, to balance things back to normal.

So yeah, this idea breaks the game. It's all just numbers, anyway. If level 5 is to low a number for you, just ignore it and look at the skill-point amount instead. That's a lot higher then even the number 6.
