CSM 10 Suggestion: "I Voted" T-shirt

Since CCP likes giving out T-shirts for fanfest and tourneys (and maybe some meetups? I don't know), I thought it might be interesting to have a T-shirt, or other article of clothing made up for people who voted for CSM members.

It's obviously far too late to do anything like that this year.

I just thought it was an interesting idea, and might actually send more people to the polls to get their CCP swag.

Because when I go vote, the only reason I ever do it is for the awesome sticker they give me afterwards.

Would make for an interesting in game reward.

I probably wouldn't wear one IRL, but as a marketing tool to increase awareness of the CSM, it might be a good redeemable for anyone that votes.

Yeah, I meant in-game. Like the Quafe, AT, etc shirts we already have.

Everyone who votes should get a blue finger.

What like Soylent Green? Who chooses which members are reprocessed for said T-shirts?

Maybe I have this wrong...

Interesting reason to vote, OP by the way, do you also vote on the same premise in real life? Your views are the reason why the CSM is pointless and does not really do anything to better the game for all, but only for a select group. Roll

My ridicule, heavy criticism and general pale outlook about your or CCP's ideas is nothing but an encouragement to prove me wrong. Give it a try.

If the CSM is only beneficial to a select group, it's because only that select group runs candidates or bothers to vote.

If more people from other groups would step up as candidates, get the support needed to make it onto the ballot and then campaign the way members of the "select group" do, then I strongly suspect maybe other groups would be represented as well.

Then again, the only group that isn't particularly well-represented is the casual highsec miner and those people don't spend enough time at their keyboards to express anything that can actually be represented.

All of that being said, CSM 10 is definitely worthy of T-shirts - at least IMO - simply by virtue of being the 10th CSM. We silly humans have a species-wide thing for commemorating the 1st, 5th, 10th, 15th, 20th, etc instance of a thing and so we might as well play along with it.

Oy! I get my sticker when I vote in the US!

This is the same principle.

Instead of a t-shirt, what about a special ship or ship skin ?

It would be much more visible to anyone who hasn't voted.

Of the carebear candidates available this election, I've only looked into one. A candidate too lazy to get to a keyboard before posting to try and drum up support. A candidate too lazy to fix the spelling and grammar errors posting from a phone causes. Someone I doubt I'd vote for even if I did agree with him because I doubt he'd put in the effort to get anything done.

Are the other carebear candidates any better ?

Personally, I'd rather the T-shirt or a hat. Yes, I said it. A hat.

The trouble with ships and ship skins is that they tend to be destructible. Your fancy "Iteron IV-oted" isn't very visible when it's either locked in a hangar forever or blown into fancy little space-bits. Avatar clothes, on the other hand, are mysteriously immune to being lost (as long as you're wearing them).

Iraqi-style! I like it!

CCP should add more NPC 0.0 space to open it up and liven things up: the Stepping Stones project.

I'll take it a step further. Give a t-shirt that says, "I voted for mynnna!"

Or, "Don't blame me, I voted for Xenuria!"

Fair enough, although I maintain that Kodos is a little bit more humanoid than Xenuria.
