I think such discussion should be allowed for the sake of transparency.

True the forums always require a degree of moderation to keep the readable and viewable content clean, but in general talking about what people like and dislike about the actual people operating this site should be done in an open and healthy manner. Standard rules would still apply.

The endless feed of tickets and petitions only floods the customer support, and proper threads that open a whole plethora of text would give an insight to players' problems with the moderation itself in a single view and then some page clicks.

Seems like even remotely critical, even healthy topics get nuked under petty excuse of "trolling" and/or "whining". Open and mannered discussion people, not really a difficult task to achieve. And even if such discussion would be allowed, there's no need to nuke entire threads about the topic, just the illiterate posts.

*Or is it just because people can't take criticism and handle opposing opinions nowdays anymore?

All posts and mails screencapped and time stamped, including out of EVE, you will not reverse on me.

Might come in handy!

Discussion of moderation in not allowed because CCP treat each case as an individual. For instance what might be considered harrassment when interacting with someone with an obvious mental health problem would be considered fine between corp mates.
Think of it like this.
You are at work and have 2 coworkers.
You tease both often.
One teases you back and you have a good laugh.
The other starts talking about suicide.
Shall we ban workplace teasing?
Or would a normal human being know they need to be nice to one and keep teasing the other?

CCP operate under this rule. They don't want to ban scamming/ awoxing/ theft etc.
If you keep doing these things when you see the victims are having serious RL problems (not just angry at space pixels) then you will run into problems with CCP.
It is knowing when to stop that is the key.

Money at its root is a form of rationing. When the richest 85 people have as much wealth as the poorest 3.5 billion (50% of humanity) it is clear where the source of poverty is. http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2014/jan/20/trickle-down-economics-broken-promise-richest-85
