Yeah that's about how much the last 5 EVE expansions took in total when you add in the point releases as well. Probably a bit more actually... I wonder if I can check?

I don't think they mention patch sizes in their patch notes. Updates applied to the client also get deleted after being applied. Does CCP delete each update off their CDN when they release a new one? That's probably the only way of finding out without special powers.

One of the best expansion packs I ever had the fun of failing at was ...

Syndicate: American Revolt.

It turned the game into a hell of it's own kind.

For those who played the original Syndicate,
but missed on American Revolt...

...imagine the Aantis mission, but everywhere.

Agents came after you, heavily tanked and armed, rarely leaving you time
to think or settle for a second. Waves after waves they came for you,
trying to crush you before you could even get close to any target of yours...

And every... EVERY mission was like that!

Gamers nowadays would stand no chance!

THAT was an expansion of gameplay... and it fitted on a few 1.44MB discs!

It was hard, straight to the point and would cost sweat and blood!

That ringing in your ears you're experiencing right now is the last gasping breathe of a dying inner ear as it got thoroughly PULVERISED by the point roaring over your head at supersonic speeds. - Tippia

If you can find someone who hasn't checked the “delete patches after use” option in the launcher and who hasn't cleaned out his launcher cache in roughly forever, you could figure it out that way.

How did it turn into an EVE is thread?

We must accommodate the idiocracy.

I guess the real question is "What is an expansion to you?" Glad you asked, I will tell you. Major content adjusting adding and or taking away. Both to promote financial preservation and agreeability towards the customers.

Well, op has a point. The last "expansions" of eve are called patches in other companies but it seems ccp has lower standards.
