Why is the mood so different on the forums than in the game?

I guess you haven't seen the boobies on Chribba's latest PlayThing centerfold.

No, I meant more along the lines of "Dat Ashe" memes and the like. Just don't google it at work.

Well, assuming he's (former) Solstice Project, ha has created a ton of content in game.
I have too, even if in another way.

Jeremy, I don't think you are entirely aware of what you are talking about; not the whole forum or game community acts the way you presume it does, and there's no such clear differential line of the players that you meet on the forums, and those you meet materially in-game.

Actually, you'd be surprised is more or less the same people, but using a forum alt, or just their "main" characters to post on the forums. So, there you go, you are talking to possibly more or less the same people you might find in-game. Hence it's kinda hypocritical to separate people in groups based on your immature perception of these groups of people where effectively most of the people you refer to also belong to the other group and vice versa.

Rumors say, there's a DUST armor wearing "my" name and
it's description, creepily enough, is pretty fitting too for the time back then.

Rumors.

I posted by observations about the existance of a toxic cadre of posters.

Notice how members of that group feel threatened by that and immediately begin proving me to be correct..

Thanks for identifying yourselves, though I did not name you.
Thanks for proving my observations correct by your own subsequent actions.

You're confusing me with you, and your subsequent posting has indeed shown that you match your observations. If you don't like the implications of what you said and of your own behaviour, only you are in the position to change that (and you really should).

Until then, though, you are that toxic element you're decrying. Trying to project your faults onto others does only serves to reinforce that toxicity.

It's called Projection.

Did you set me as blue, Tippia?
The forum shows that I have set you to blue, but so far I didn't.
I've noticed these weird hiccups to happen.

The two most toxic posters are present in this thread.
Poster D is mostly ignored now, with his :Moral High Ground: stance posts. Which have grown old, tired and boring.
Poster S is simply delusional, but he does admit to wanting to laugh and applaud, at someone being beaten up in RL. Which only shows his true nature.

Destination SkillQueue:- It's like assuming the Lions will ignore you in the Savannah, if you're small, fat and look helpless.

It's a standard forum bug. It happens with some (random) frequency and you never know whom the forum will tell you to like or dislike today. The forum said I had the entire dev team as -10 for a day a while back. Lol

In fact, now it shows me to be +10 with myself. I'm not even sure that's mechanically possible.

So, OP, there you go.
I believe there is the answer to your question, proved by their own behavior.

As you see, mere mention of this toxic group is all it took for them to respond in their toxic manner.

As you yourself observed, the wider community both on the forums and especially ingame, arent like that at all.
Its just a small group of bad apples here, but unfortunately they deliberately poison discussion wherever they post.

Again, you're only describing yourself here.

Presumably, patient Dâ‚€ is the third but has yet to show up with his paranoid delusions? P

I like how he tries to express himself in a neutral way,
further more showing that it's true what people are saying about him.

Now we can also mark him as hypocrite.

Dude... you need to brush up on your techniques.

You're like an open book.

Aahhh NPC alt.
Should have checked before.

The worst of all. A coward that doesn't post with his main.

No point continuing this.
