Hello Op,

Here are some points that you might want to take into consideration now that you have had this forum posting experience.

If your tower survives the next week, kudos to you. Expected reaction when it doesn't.

I just hope he has the required permits for that mining fleet.

OP should concider moving to the Providence region for the next week, wardeccers wont follow you there and the locals practise NRDS [not red dont shoot] For more information look up CVA and Providence.

BoBwins Law: As a discussion/war between two large nullsec entities grows longer, the probability of one comparing the other to BoB aproaches near certainty.

That is actually sensible advice. Also, don't accept any new corp members for a while. You made a mistake posting here, but it is a recoverable one if you take the proper steps.

You never know you might like provi and not return to hi-sec.

This thread, like OP's corp, will be going places.

Only this thread wont be running for its life.

Jackson Dom.

I would strongly recommend that you petition an ISD member to move this thread asap from this forum, and into the recruiting forum.

I take it you are fairly new to Eve, and naive about gameplay.
You will be war decced, because there is a specific sub-culture of players who enjoy nothing more than ruining the game play of newer players, especially of people who don't know game mechanics.

You are also about to learn the hard way about recruiting openly and blindly.
You can be guaranteed that at least one of the batch of people that do respond to your recruiting WILL be someone out to steal everything your corp has.

Eve could be a great game, but CCP has allowed a segment of its player base, also known as sociopaths, to run wild.

Oh, and do yourself another favour, and find out what Burn Jita means.

And yet you keep paying for it, despite the fact that it's not a great game. In essence, you are paying people you don't like to make a game you can't stand.

The above is the 2nd funniest part. The actual funniest part of it all is that you then think it's everyone else with a problem lol.

In my low sec travels, I see a huge amount of PoCo's owned by one corp, non-aligned with anyone, called The Weak and the Scrawny. They have 8 members, and PoCo's in tons of systems, with complete coverage.

They seem to be a group just aching to get attacked. Then I looked at their killboard, and saw all the kills with Shadow Cartel plastered all over them. Then I understood.

First of all: Succes with building your corporation!

You are indeed posting in a more general forum instead of a dedicated forum.

some basic pointers:

- Now that you are out in the open, you will get wardecced. This is NOT a problem. The very nature of h-sec prevents the truly dangerous people from going after you. It will slow you down tho. Be prepared to switch corps, run alts, stay in lowsec (evade in general) while you acquire members and ships. There will be a point where you can take these guys on. Strangely enough, the number of wardecs will be very low by then...

- "Open" recruitment is a heaven for those that want to AWOX (shoot corpmembers/blues), steal your stuff or ransom your ability to play for isk. Make sure you understand how API's, corp histories, killboards etc work. Do proper checks!

- Think about how you want to reach goals and what you need for that. As concrete as possible. If you want miners to join you, providing them with barges will help. But those aren't free, so... how? If you have ideas, people will join you and help you. If you don't, then there's no reason to be in YOUR corp now is there?

- Plan ahead. You want to build a nullsec empire? Thats going to take alot of work and time. Are you up for that?

- NEVER do this for you and you alone. At some point your corp will no longer be your corp, but everybodies' corp. Make sure you like the people in your corp, share visions etc. It will keep people onboard and makes sure you still feel connected yourself.

- Patience. Then some more patience.

Again, good luck!

You do not need capital ships. You need more than 12 people who fly good sub-capital PVP ships. If you drop capital ships in the state you are in, you are going to lose them. Capital ships really need support fleets. Not to mention, with your self proclaimed L4 mission and mining background, it seems unlikely you would know what to do with them if you had them.

If you mail me in-game I'd be more than happy to discuss your situation.

Things are only impossible until they are not.
