Client settings are not saved...

I have discovered that any changes to the settings like new chat windows, overview changes or even graphic settings simply reset each time the client is closed. This must be a fairly recent problem as I do have older customized settings that are not affected (in fact to which the client now resets). I am not sure but I think that started with one of the patches, probably early Rubicon 1.3 or even 1.2.

Anyone have an idea how that can be fixed?

It's worth trying to start the client with administrator rights (right click on the shortcut and select 'Run as Administrator').

If that does not work then you may need to create a new settings folder entirely. You can see how to clear the settings folder in the following wiki:

It's worth moving your current settings folder, instead of deleting it entirely, as you can then simply move it back should the problem persist.

The setup in windows 8 is different and the wikki doesn't help.

Done my time in null sec, now I'm just a Privateer wandering around High and Low Sec.
