Pod ganking of cheap targets could be just a sorority initiation ritual, and could have some role to engance the aggressivity of noobs, but still it seems a lot of bullying and bragging. One way to distinguish it could be to elliminate it from the kill lists, both API and corporation, so that it does not receive public merit.

Or, it could be left to the killed person the right to decide if its particular killing can be shown. That way, if you want to have a wall decorated with noobies heads, you are least must pay them (albeit this kind of post-dead bartering also sound to a continued bullying; perhaps it should be just an automatic option "set the price of your privacity"). Paying for something is more in the way of EVE.

this wont stop noobs getting ganked. a kill is a kill. just because its not worth isk doesnt mean there isn't personal value or a story behind it.

what if the noob says something like this

EVE FAQ "7.2 CAN I AVOID PVP COMPLETELY? No; there are no systems or locations in New Eden where PvP may be completely avoided"
