I sold ActiveX to another player who was considered a friend at the time for an Apocalypse. This was before CCP made character selling legal.

How about that for self scamming. It was a long time ago, but it still smarts. I'd have never done it had I known I'd have been back.

Buying several mining characters when I started the game (legally via forums), then realising I despise mining and multiboxing.

Took years to train them for combat, they have horrendous names, and loads of shameful mining skills. And corpies were always trying to bully me to mine because they knew I could Cry

Having said that I used my CC to buy the plex, got made redundant then settled the debt at a reduced rate. So in my mind I got them free. Even a worldwide recession has its upsides, you just have to mentally stand on your head :P
