Check disabling Crossfire please, and if you have it active, Catalyst A.I. as well (or set it to the "Quality" setting). Try having every other setting in the driver on "Application Controlled" as well, wherever possible.

The fact that this does not seem to appear on screenshots at all suggests that this is rooted somewhere within the driver. Eventually, if you have been updating drivers over a while, try a clean install of the drivers, meaning completely wiping the current driver and any residue of older versions using a driver cleaner tool of your choice (simply uninstalling still tends to leave traces, sadly) before reinstalling.

The red stuff is gone after turning off xfire, everything else was already set to application controlled, cat ai set to quality. Only had 1 driver version installed before this new one (11.11).

I am also having the same issue.

I have two crossfired HD 5800s.
I just updated to the 11.11 drivers hoping to fix it, and it didn't work.

Another player suggested changing the Presentation Interval under display settings in game. It stops the issue for me as long as I remain in the current system/station/playfield/etc... But as soon as I change to another it returns. It doesn't matter what I set the PI to, all that seems to matter is that I change it.

Endless problems with ATI drivers since going to crossfire, yet haven't had a single one with my Nvidia SLI setup.

I tried a clean wipe of the drivers as GM Karidor suggested. While it did speed up my computer a little (which is nice), it did not solve the issue. His suggested work around with disabling CrossfireX was successful for me as it was for Zenjin Vonavi. I do hope that there will be a true solution. (Other than switching to Nvidia.)

... It did improve Skyrim though.

Ditto, didn't work here either :(

Anyone know if we (users) should file bug reports with AMD / ATI, or does CCP do that?

Disabling antialiasing also stops it happening, with the shader set to max.

no way i'm playing w/o antialiasing, or xfire, i'd rather play with shaders on medium.

It would be better if it came from CCP though, not sure how much attention he actually pays to users reporting bugs.

Yeah I know LOL was just mentioning it, if it helped a dev to work out what was borked.

(don't know if this is the right forum to post this in, if it isn't please excuse me)

Lately i have been having big issues with my graphics in EVE wich seem to affect other games i startup AFTER i've started upt (and sometimes closed down) eve online.

In eve the screen gets "flickering horizontal bars" and ship + station models get a violent flickering red overlay on them.
If i change the presentation interval back & forth, it all seems normal, but after changing ship - leaving station - jumping through a gate, the problem pops back up.

Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601) Service Pack 1 (7601.win7sp1_gdr.110622-1506)
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 930 @ 2.80GHz (8 CPUs), ~2.8GHz
Memory: 12288MB RAM
Graphics card: ATI Radeon HD5870 (crossfired)
DirectX Version: DirectX 11
DX Setup Parameters: Not found
DxDiag Version: 6.01.7601.17514 64bit Unicode

My graphic driver is up to date.
I also made some photo's , since screenshots weren't affected by the graphics issue.

(bad quality photo's as they were made with my phone)

I'm currently reinstalling eve and hope that will do something.
UPDATE: Reinstalled eve and my graphic drivers, no changes :(.

Any help will be greatly appreciated! :D

Happening to me as well with Crossfired 6950's. I don't think it's an EVE issue, though, as everything worked fine for me until I installed Catalyst 11.11. After that **** hit the fan and I started to get the red polygon craziness. Trying a Catalyst re-install.

Was having the similar problem pre-crucible on the login screen before i installed 11.11... plus this is the only game I'm having any issue with. When you say it's not an EvE issue I feel it lets CCP off the hook. CCP needs to get this taken care of with AMD. Not me, and not you. Previous posters have stated they were having this problem before upgrading to 11.11.
We're gonna be 1 patch into crucible now and it still hasn't even been commented on.
