More Corp Hangers

The Problem:
Some corps rent 0.0 space and the closest station might be 2 or 3 jumps away, thus they LIVE out of their POS's.

Some of the POS modules require "Corp Hanger" access. This is fine if you 7 people in the corp, you can setup roles so each member has access to only the one hanger. But if you have more people you will need to split them into groups of 7 into different POS's and have passwords on them so only those members can access the POS, this becomes a bit of a logistical nightmare.

When these people get to a station where the corp has an office all members have access to the hangers, if everyone trusts each other this is fine and they can put their stuff in the hangers, but nobody trusts anyone in this game (as you should really be suspicious of EVERYONE), not even RL friends, actually, especially not RL friends, lol

The Solution:
Add more Corp hangers, maybe link it to the skill level of the CEO, similar to how many members a corp can have is linked to the CEO's skills.

I'm not saying add hundreds of corp hangers, but would asking for let's say 20 or 30 corp hangers depending on skills and corp size be too much to ask? I guess once we have like 50 corp hangers people will start asking for even more, hmmm.

I dunno how this will impact the game and the database servers etc., but I definitely think this is a nice to have option.

I haven't lived from a POS in a while now, but didn't they introduce Personal Hangar Arrays ?

Rather than having it linked to a skill, maybe it would be more reasonable to have it linked to the office fee. Paying per hangar you would like to enable. You are after all using the stations real estate, in theory.

But yes, as a pretend ocd person i to would like more ways to organize my things and hangars are great for that.

Edit: looks like you are only talking about poses? Disregard my post if that was the case, have no experience with poses so i haven't the faintest clue about their hangar situation.

I'd like to see a couple more hangers too, Maybe just take it up to a dozen though. It would help better with storage of things without having to resort to adding in station warehouses. Either that, or let screens like the blueprints screens find and use those blueprints that are in the cans. As it stands I'm losing two of my hangers to containing BPOs and BPCs so I can effectively manage them remotely and then a 2nd two for inputs/outputs which only leaves me three for actual corp use.

Yeah they did, but those things are way too small to be useful for long-time POS stays, and if "stuff" happens, you can't rescue the corpie's stuff because only the corp member whose crap it is can access it. The way we had it with ship maintenance arrays and corp hanger arrays is that the CEO and XO's could still access everyone's crap so they could get it to the closest station if there was BIG trouble on the way.

Hmmm, paying for extra "real-estate", I did not even consider this, that does not sound so bad, could work :)

PS. for some reason my settings have changed, lol, I am Jordan Jansen also.

the problem with personal hanger arrays is alts.
you cant share items between alts easily.

Well they should allow the owner of a personal hangar to give access to a list of people, so you could include your alts aswell as your CEO / a director / a person of your choice. That would solve a couple of issues wouldn't it ?
