I just saw the eve client download and apply a small patch. I don't see any patch notes. What's this about?

Normally, it's about fixing something.

How inspecific and vague. Fixing what, why?

Would you be satisfied is the patch notes said "various unspecific and vague backend fixes that don't effect the end user experience at all"?

It was the fix for the patch that patched the fix for that one patch that needed fixing after the patch.

Been seeing a lot of these mini patches lately, it would be interesting to know what they are.

Dust is making small changes fixing stuff that was messed up with the 1.8 release. While this will account for some of it the last major update that had patch notes was the inclusion of A/B code to TQ. This was only talked about on the Test server forums and wont go wide until CCP has gotten retention data from the new players which try it.

If i dont know something about EVE. I check https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/ISK_The_Guide

Yes. I would want to know. Any changes to the software on my system I want to understand and fully comprehend before I agree to them. I don't even run windows updates before examining all the different hot-fixes. It's my computer, software that goes on it I should have the right to understand.

The devs make changes to the server side programs all the time. That has the chance to mess up our the players game. Any client side changes just update the way it links to the server.

If they don't change the way a feature works and the client loads and runs. I would give CCP the some space to work with.

If you want answers do what i do and start a thread in the proper forum and ask. I almost always get a response from one of the devs. See the new thread about the current build on Sisi on the test server forum.

[voice=Dinsdale] Im sure its CCP secretly adding something that helps the Null-Sec Cartels destroy innocent High-Sec citizens![/voice]

BoBwins Law: As a discussion/war between two large nullsec entities grows longer, the probability of one comparing the other to BoB aproaches near certainty.

I have no idea what this is about as the last patch went out on the 1th of April and there hasn't been a patch since.

As this thread is deteriorating fast and no new answers can be given, it gets a lock.
