You can play Eve anytime.

If you're taking the time for a little vacation overseas, I would focus on staying drunk and trying to screw everything that moves. Twisted

bonus points for Punkturis, Sunset, Seagull, Tallest, Guard, or Hillmar.

x5k if all at once.

No, you dress up as a Cat to slap the fat people away from the buffet.

It's the STABBER that bumps them away. Ask anyone from the New Order.

Why the hell would you want to play eve at fanfest.

It's like concert etiquette man. Never show up in a t-shirt for the band you are going to see.

Ive never been to a concert, wouldnt wearing their shirt express support like all the people wearing steelers gear?

People wearing Steelers merch are doing it ironically.

what about people wearing Vikings gear?

BAHAHAHAAHA!!!!!!

They're my home team and I don't follow sports but even I know they're a joke. IIRC we've lost more Super Bowls than any other team in the NFL.

Well technically, you'd dress up as a Catalyst and Uzi as many of the mother ******* as you could before the cops show up. But that might put a damper on attending the rest of the events.

So being a nice enough guy to just bump and being pure Gallente who laughs at the Minmatar ships, I'll just bump as a Catalyst, thank you very much.

If you go to fanfest & spend any of your time sober then congratulations on wasting a bunch of money.

I ordered one of these power cords for my notebook, hope it works okay. The power supply says 110-220v so this should be a simple solution.

May not bother with Eve at fanfest, but you can't leave home without internetz!

You know if you close the web browser you can launch eve on the computer you're currently using.. But before you do that go and cancel your plane tickets and save yourself a few hundred bucks..

Seriously tho if you're going to fanfest and expect to be playing eve than you're doing life wrong.

http://www.220converters.com/store/p/36-750-Watts-Step-Down-Voltage-Converter-220v-to-110v.html

Would something like that work?
It doesnt list frequency so i have to assume a direct core transformer
ANd I can provide my own unsurge protected power strip
I mean it would output 110 volts at 6.5 amps, which is sufficient for my laptop and charger for camera

I think there's a pretty good chance you just committed forum suicide. Shocked

They say most of your brain shuts down on the EvE forums. All but the impatient side, and the sarcastic side. No wonder I'm still awake.

Like any of you could not logon to a computer for that long. More GD trolling, OP, they are trying to make you the only one without a puter in Iceland.

I've never been to fanfest, but when I do go I plan to walk very slowly thorough and then stop at every door so that the people walking behind me clump up and have a hard time getting in.

You will be able to tell it's me because I will be wearing a T-shirt with the words "This is JITA on the Weekend" plastered on it. Twisted

I was there last year. Not going to be there this year Sad All I did was get an adapter for the plug at Radio Shack, laptop and wifi worked fine.

Just to add, there's really not a ton of time to play Eve while you are there. I'd log on for maybe 15 minutes a day just to keep in touch with my corp, but I didn't spend a lot of time in my hotel room, it's really a fun awesome place, especially for an Eve player during Fanfest time.

Also, though I'm very happily married, damn I wish I had gone to Iceland when I was single.

No good deed goes unpunished

If you're sober enough to switch on your computer at any point whilst in Iceland then you've done the entire trip wrong & have potentially wasted thousands of dollars. It's your call.

if i went to iceland it wouldn't be to play a computer game. it would be to see iceland. lol. if the time i was in iceland happened to coincide with fanfest...i'd be likely to go the big party at the end and that's about it.
