So I was talking to this guy who runs the local comic store.

He offered me $11k worth of EVE Online Trading Cards for $3k

That seems like an AMAZING deal, I just have one or two reservations:

1) Has anyone ever played this game?

2) Is it actually a real thing or did he just print these on his computer?

Now with 100% less Troll.

2) Yes, it is a real thing.

I doubt anybody's collection of EVE Online: The Second Genesis Collectible Card Game cards is worth $3k, much less $11k.

If someone gives you an 8000$ discount from the start, there is a good chance it's not actually an 8000$ discount. If you think otherwise I would suggest that it might be better for you to fly around Jita.

If they are WORTH that much, how come he hasnt sold them on Ebay?

Is it bossible like any pieces of card that have outlived thier usefulness that hes quoting original cost and not actual worth?
