How about this.

After you are podded, you don't wake up in your station in your new clone quite so quickly as it is now.

Instead of this, your punishment for being bad and losing your ship AND getting podded is a 15 minute delay. During this 15 minute delay either you can control your camera around your corpse (you can watch the fight that you used to be involved in) or if someone happens to scoop your corpse, your camera is now bound to their ship. And if they dock, your camera is now bound to their Captains quarters, in a "corpse bay".

This is where new features in captains quarters comes in. A Corpse bay, where you can store up to 5 corpses at one time for interactions, after a limited time they become "proper dead" and have to be moved to another location (hangar) and can no longer be interacted with (the dead pilot is now returned to clone station and able to play again).

In this 15 minute window, the pilot who scoops the corpse, and docks and transfers the corpse/s to the corpse bay has the option to interact with your corpse while you watch, and the only controls you have are over the camera focused on your corpse.

Corpse Interaction abilities are as follows:

Poke eyeball
Put finger up nose
Put finger in ear
Play Violin
Offer box of Tissues
Flex Biceps
Attempt High Five
Poke belly button
Slap
Paint Portrait
Fart in face
Dissect (this provides some materials for building implants, and returns the pilot to their home station)
Paint corpse fluro colours and laugh.

Additional Interaction ideas are welcome.

This is a far superior version of the kill-cams other games may use, and would see a significant increase in use of captains quarters.

Not only do you lose your ship,your implants, your clone. You also get stuck 15mins doing nothing.



I would like to how ever "abuse" corpses if I could.

Once you have tasted the the satisfaction of tormenting a dead man while he watches, you won't think 15 mins is too much.

That being said, there is no strict rule on 15 minutes

Can't we just get right click options on corpses in my station hanger?

I can think of more stimulating experiences to be had in the privacy of my own CQ than the publicly cold reaches of space....

Eve is about Capital ships, WiS, Boobs, PI and Isk!

Given CCP's position on personal harassment, even in the context of comms channels which people join voluntarily, I don't think you can expect any mechanics to arise whereby you can involuntarily imprison someone for the explicit purpose of harassing them.

I don't care what you pay for. It's people like you who wouldn't handle this very well that make the idea even more thrilling.

It isn't personal harassment. It has nothing to do with the person behind the client, only one of his/her characters

Oh player then, I'm not here to entertain. I'm here to kill ships and rub it in the face of the pilots. There's nothing wrong with that in a game like this.

I like the thrust of the idea, but 15 mins might be a bit long.

as for the dissecting, poking and violin playing I can see the appeal.

If I had to sign up eve online in one sentence it would be...

'shoving your epeen in someone else's mouth and forcing them to suck it at gunpoint'

Dumbing down of Eve Online will result in it's destruction...

sheesh... a bunch of nerophiles.

But, it would be nice if you could reverse engineer corpses to extract implants. Roll

Cloaking is the closest thing to a "Pause Game" button one can get while in space.

Support better localization for the Japanese Community.
