Verification Failure

I downloaded and patched and then get the "verification failure" error message

"Your EVE client installation may have modified, damaged or corrupts files. run repair.exe ...."

I then run the EVE Online Repair Tool, gets about 35% of the way through that then that pops up with a Error.

What's the fix?

I have this isntalled on 3 computers, it's happened on the first two, waiting until i know what the deal is before attempting to patch and fail on a third.

I have a similar issue but the repair tool 404ed at the very beginning. If i restarted download of patch results were the same

Redownload of eve and got corrupted files. ran repair tool and it BSOD

I too am having this same crap.

I've uninstalled eve completeley and started from scratch 2 times now and same results.....it corrupts....then repair tries to fix it and it too fails...

I'm really getting sick of the corrupted file bullcrap.

Any progress on this issue yet?

Seems most everyone with Win 7 Ultimate 64 can't patch or repair.

Uninstalled, redownloaded and installed, get to step 2/3 verify and it errors out and asks if I want to download and repair, click "yes"
repair tool downloads and starts to run and then that errors out.

Same Problems on 2 PCs ... any idea whats goinon, iam not redownloading the full game again .

Yes, I've done it as admin and it still fails.

I did finally get eve installed, did the manual install option at

http://www.eveonline.com/download/?fallback=1

had tried the client install link from the front page and that failed as well, but for some reason the manual install option download worked.

ffs.... I managed to log in two days, then the client patched. Now I have to down all this again? ......... Is there no fix for Win7 other than downing these files?

help i have a similar problem, patch cannot download "verification error" so it wont let me download the new build only when i have done a fresh install so verified eve in steam, steam did like my EVE so it decided to downloaded it again, EVE then patched itself which took an hour then eve ran fine...for 1 night. But today after work I logon "New build available" what do you mean i already have this build!!!! its showing up AGAIN. I ran repair tool which the repair tool wanted to update itself! The new updated version then would'nt work, so found a link to a NEW more "improved repair tool" I double click it does nothing, nothing appearing in task manager just NOTHING. Ran as admin etc... Cry

I just uninstalled bullguard now it works! Big smile
