Sig tanking manticore for Lv 4 faction missions

Can I use a manticore for Lv 4 faction missions in low sec?

Depends on what sort of hostiles you're using it against. An afterburning Manticore can probably sig-tank Gallente or Amarr easily enough, but Minmatar and Caldari rats can give problems - Minmatar because of TP's and missiles, Caldari because of ECM and missiles. Incoming sub-cruise/torpedo missiles are not a stealth bomber's friend.

With the right fit you can still use the manticore against caldari... W8 we are talking about fw missions right?

I use that type of setup all the time against Gallente. I've not run any against the other 3 sides so I can't speak with first hand experience. But I don't think there would be a problem against the amarr. I'm not sure how it would work against the minmitar or caldari.

Manti can do Amarr ones, but it's large and a bit slow, and those minmatar TPs make you vulnerable to their artillery. On the other hand, it does have very nice basic lock range, so with the right setup you can shoot faction out to nearly 90km.
