A true eve player can not, and will not, ever leave.

They say most of your brain shuts down on the EvE forums. All but the impatient side, and the sarcastic side. No wonder I'm still awake.

To the 7000 accounts;

Greetings, how are you? Good, I'm good too. My name is Brock Nelson. You may not know who I am but I'm a hard working productive member of this game. I work hard to ensure that good post is delivered to the forum.

Now that we got that out of the way, I'd like to give you the opportunity to invest your stuff in a man who will keep it safe and your investment will even grow. Why? Because this fine game needs you, and should you choose to return, I will give your your stuff back.

Can I have your stuff?

Sincerely,
Brock Nelson

I think it is an inevitable adjustment after reality failed to meet the B-R hype'd up expectations of the new blood.

So PLEX have gone up by roughly 2 hours of level IV missioning. 4 hours if your not good at it.

It's sad those 7000 people cannot fit another 2 to 4 hours play a month, but with such busy real lives should they be playing at all ?

So what you're saying is that i should go out and buy some PLEX?

There might be a small drop in subs, but not big enough that you'd notice.

I say this because as soon as people stop buying them prices will come down to the point where they all get bought up again and stockpiled in players accts.

PLEX prices will drop, but not before some of us have profited from it.

This just in: you should only ever devote free time to EVE if you have even more free time that could also be devoted to EVE!

I agree that not everyone should be able to PLEX their accounts, but logic like this is just ridiculous!

7000 accounts permanently leaving will remove a lot of dead wood and excess ISK from the game. Could be a good rebalance.

More to the point, for a typical grinding plexer this means 12 hours per month to plex instead of 10 hours? Or for a miner 30 hours mining instead of 25 hours? If they are that strapped for playtime they should not be plexing anyway.

I cant think of anything that would´ve made the amount of new blood we got after B-R any better. The amount of new newbros that joined is incredible.

I predict an asteroid will strike the Indian Ocean just as they locate the plane wreckage.

This is, of course, untrue
