From one way of looking at it, this offer is basically just trying to defang people who've found the mindgames in the Bonus Round distasteful. And if you get more people in on the action, it might start to seem more acceptable.

Oh, and by contributing suggestions, people would be legitimizing this as a Bonus Round with actual stakes and consequences.

When it's probably just theatre.

Erotica 1 provided an API key so it can be confirmed that all of his ISK and assets are being contracted out. No matter what the intentions were, it should have been blaringly obvious that no one would believe this to be legit. And even if it were, it's obviously not comparable to "normal" bonus room rounds.
I take this as a hint to the amount of pressure being exerted on Ero atm, because under normal circumstances he would be clever enough to realize that himself.

I take this back. On second thought this is actually a VERY clever move. Shocked

It would be a poor move if the intend is to legitimize the bonus room.
However, in light of a possible ban the intend might be to protect ISK and assets from being locked down. And by doing it in the open while providing a duplicitous excuse this lessens the risk that CCP tracks down the transfers and reverse them.

I wasn't aware that rule, I've seen people leave and come back in the past. Erotica 1 is a reasonable person but there need to be limits or the bonus rounds will be drawn out indefinitely.

I'm pretty sure that no contestant has before tonight said, "Okay, that's enough for me for the night. Let's pick this up again tomorrow" and everyone was fine with it.

What he's done though isn't against the rules. Everyone's complaining that it should be against the rules (and demand CCP destroy the sandbox to "save" people that are too stupid to stop when someone tells them to sing or cover themselves in mayo), but if CCP decide to make it so, they won't go and ban him for something that wasn't against the rules when he did it.
