Actually its quite the opposite. Darwinism promoted certain codes of behavior in humans, some of which include respect, courtesy, politeness and integrity. Those that failed to exhibit these particular traits were rather brutally removed from the gene pool. We are social animals not asocial a-holes. Because of Darwinism.

Unfortunately the internet removes the consequences of not exhibiting those traits.

Exactly what I was thinking. You might get this Sohkar guy into a crap ton of trouble. Needless to say if he has children and daddy has to goto court then you have put him in a very bad situation by wanting it publicized. I hope you can live with your "white Knight" routine. The White Knight Routine Breaks up alliances all the time. How about you break up this Sohkar's Family. Yea + 1 Luminous.

Its not about Sohkar for me. He is an adult.

For me this is CCP's refusal to condemn and take action against behavior that crosses a line.

Some people just don't understand that by exposing this, youre humiliating the "victim" (term used loosely) further... but hey, theres some good advice for that.

Thanks for confirming that you're just as ignorant about international law as you are about sov mechanics.

EVE is a game about spaceships and there's an enormous amount of work to do on the in-space gameplay before players (or developers) are ready to sacrifice it for a totally new type of gameplay - CCP Rise

The Mittani was a de-facto employee of CCP. CCP hosted and provided the forum. CCP had a responsibility to ensure that the presentation complied with the law and failed to do so. It also has a duty of care towards its subscribers, allowing one of its subscribers private and personal information and communications to be blown up on a projector in front of a public audience was a breach of Icelandic law -Art. 229 of the Icelandic Penal Code.

CCP also made itself vicariously liable for any damages that the presentation may have caused to the person being humiliated.

This is a situation that we've been monitoring for some time now, and recent events have sparked renewed discussion with regards to what, if anything will be done in regards to what's happened.
