CCP should conduct some sort of test before a person is allowed to subscribe to EVE. What do you think the EVE litmus test should test for..?

The litmus test is the tutorials. If you can get past the terrible instruction there; this game is for you.

We've all done some stupid things when starting out. I used to put artillery on my LvL 1 mission running tristan (before it was a drone boat) because I thought the alpha the guns did were amazing, and I had no concrete understanding of how I was impacting my setup.

And common sense is an oxymoron given how uncommon it is!

I don't expect to score high on a common sense-scale, thus I feel retro-discriminated by your proposal. (Edit: "I can take 4 BC in a sleipnir without crystals, no need to log a linkalt" - famous last words)

But yes, the first tutorial line should orientate less to the game itself and more towards common sense and the meaning of *losing assets*.
