I'd say all the T1 cruisers are quite well balanced and excel at different roles. I'd say the best PvP cruiser is definitely the Vexor though. From my experience the least used is the Bellicose, but that doesn't make it bad, it's just that target painting is not as useful as the other Ewar, however it's definitely not a bad cruiser, it's quite fast and has decent dps and a good slot layout.

Osprey looks good on paper but I haven't seen any ospreys in gangs for a long time. It is all scythes.

Bellicose is nice, but very underused too.

Since the latest buffs to sensor strengths and adding sensor str skills, I have seen less and less blackbirds in space, which is a good thing.

Other cruisers I see all the time. If you want to do something different, you can get a logi ship and fit it for solo combat...there was a solo exequror video which was hillarious.

wouldn't it be easier to ask for the 6 t1 cruisers that are MOST popular?

I should buy an Ishtar.

Moa is actually very nice. You can use it for a good PvE stepping stone after the cormorant, it is a viable and cheap platform for rails and blasters alike in PvP and it makes a terrific ganker for autopiloting industrials in highsec gates.

Top 10 least used T1 cruisers, yet there are only four per race, so 16 in all. So pretty much you want all but the six most popular? I am not sure I understand your logic.

That said, the main reason a lot of the "least popular" are not used are because they fill niche roles. Moa (very small projection profile) and Maller (big brick, great for gangs or cynos or bait but not much else when the Omen is there) are the only two that really come to mind as "least popular." Maybe Celestis outside of FW space since people prefer spending blingy on T2, and the same could be said of the versatile Bellicose.

Osprey. I honestly can't find a single good use for it.

Er, there are only 12 to start with.

count again.

There are 16 normal Cruisers (4 for each faction)
There are 8 Navy Cruisers (2 for each faction)
There are 6 Pirate Cruisers

So 30 in total.

As for the osprey as well as all the other T1 Logistics, it is simply a T1 version of the basilisk and is happily used for cheap T1 shield fleets working around the rupture, ferox or other shield based cruiser/BC.

Ans yes, people actually fly T1 Shield Fleets but its more like a small gang small income setup for small corps, mostly in lowsec.

Yes counting all 'factions' (pirate, navy and the standard) there is alot more then 16. And no i dont care for the 6 most popular i just wanted to know what people dont fly and some logic behind it.

All cruisers are quite good now imo - each in different roles. If the idea behind your question is to fly unexpected stuff in PvP and to surprise ppl in PvP you could try to shoehorn them into unexpected roles/tactics. Kiting Moa, brawling Caracal, 'gank' Blackbird, and so on...

Those that say celestises arent used have never been on the recieveing end of **** you fleet.

Hell all forms of ewar cruisers are now used on a semi regular basis.

Ospreys and Augs tend to not be used for much not because they are bad but the age old cap chains suck for mid to large gang pvp. So unless you have a small gang with 3-4 of them you wont use them much. (a small gang is like less then 20 dudes and if you have that much logi everyone is going to **** off)

Moas arent as good as eagles(Lol) or Tengus so still kinda suck

Caracals are still used alot as well as thoraxes and ruptures.

Omens/Mallers as an ahac doctrine work but are pretty rare.

Stabbers work as a cheap mini vagabond but are kinda meh.

So you're a hipster? Got it.

I looked at Jita market, Arbitrator trades at often at or under 50 per day making it Amarr's least traded recently. It's a drone boat with tracking disruptions bonuses.

Celestis appears to be on the light side for Gallente ships. Another Ewar ship.

Bellicose traded the least of Minmatar, by a decent margin. Again, an ewar ship.

For Caldari everyone is flying Caracals. All other caldari cruiser sales are dwarfed here, either osprey or moa.

But all of those standard cruisers are used much more often than faction cruisers. If you want REAL hipster cred, the Osprey Navy Issue and Exequror Navy issue often trade in the single digits in jita. If you jump in one of these you will have a hard time finding someone who is also using one.

Where I live, Omens, Stabbers, Navy Ospreys and Moas are all super rare. I see lots of Maller's, Caracals, and Fleet Scythes.
