Hi!

I am a new player so need to clarify the rules regarding services for ISK. I seem to remember reading somewhere that I am allowed to provide services outside the game in return for ISK. Is this correct? In other words am I allowed to design a website for someone in return for ingame ISK?

I don't see why I would not be allowed to give you 50 billion isk if that is what I want to do - for whatever reason. There is the option in-game to give isk to other players.

I would highly recommend you hit F12 and submit a ticket to a GM explaining what you want to do to:
1. make sure it is legal
2. cover yourself should it later come in to question.

I have people on call That design Banners for me for ISK.

Should not be a problem, but as with most things. If you have a question ask via a petition.

I did what Cane suggested and sent a petition. The reply was that I would be allowed to host websites but not design it. Designing banners is allowed however.

Just talk to CCP about it directly. Tell them what idea you have etc. in a petition.

For example. I have seen plenty out of game lotteries with ships and isk. same goes for E-Poker sites.
You can also bet on real life sports with ISK.

Or EVE Radio for example. the Djs recieve ISK donations for a out of game radio service.

News Writers for EN24 and Themittani.com are also paid in ISK.

One of the most famous scams for example is a dude that made a bank for ISK. basicaly he handled it all out of game like some sort of real bank.

And just like any other real bank he decided to keep the money :p

A lot of people raged about it but in the end it was legit and approved by CCP.

CCP is really open minded when it comes to out of game services for ISK. even if you plan on scamming people.
