Broker's Fee, Sales Tax and Standings

I'm sure this has been asked numerous times before, but i searched through the forum and couldn't really find what i was looking for.

Before i ask my question I'll list my current skill levels.

Trade- 4
Accounting- 3
Broker Relations- 4
Contracting- 2
Daytrading- 3
Marketing- 4
Procurement- 3
Retail- 4

So my question is, how do i find the faction and corporate standings, so i can calculate my broker's fee? Also, once i find those standings, how do i calculate the broker's fee and sales tax?

I'm trying to set up a spreadsheet for the trading side of my operation and I'm having trouble grasping this part of it.

Thank you to anyone that can help. It's much appreciated.

To find your standings click you character image at the top left.
Scroll down on the left side of this sheet and click on standings.
Click the drop down box at "liked by"
Scroll to your faction and take note of the standing.
Scroll to the corporations heading and take note of your standing.

Not 100% sure of the calculations after that. I'll take a peek at eve-uni and shoot a link over

Before you get all tangled into corporate and faction standings, first focus on your skills. Accounting and Broker Relations to Lv V is the barrier to entry for trade. You can get along very well with those at V and 0 standings. Once you get into grinding standings, at that point it's just icing on the cake.

You'll find everything here: http://wiki.eveuniversity.org/Trading

Btw, you can see your broker fee in % for the station you are in if you open a buy order (right click on any item in the market, choose "buy this" in the menu, click on the "advanced" button in the bottom right corner of the pop up window, look for "Broker's fee" in the lower section of the buy window).

Basic broker fee (=broker fee before standings) and transaction tax are visible if you check the "My Orders" tab in the market window. You'll find them at the bottom.

What Myriad said also applies to Sell orders. Just go through the steps of creating a sell order for some random item without actually making it and you'll see Broker's Fee and Sales Tax fields at the bottom of the sell order window listed as % and absolute cost.

If you're going to be trading at a lot of different stations with various corps then plugging the standings into the Broker's fee formula listed in the wiki Myriad linked will probably be more efficient than above.

That's a good website, but the formula for the Market Order Broker Fee shown there is currently incorrect. The correct formula is shown on this graph: http://dl.eve-files.com/media/corp/Thoraemond/eve-market-order-broker-fees-20110417.png.
