It's coming out in less than a day now! You guys want to come join the fun? We'd love to have you Big smile So far, it's Blood Union, Quantum Explosion, and Marmite Collective vs. Illusion of Solitude. It looks as if the goal is to make an example out of us: no bubbles on the POSs (an open invitation to ship up & fight), but they have more ships seeded in our hole than we have pilots, so it looks likely to be a pretty solid curb-stomping. And yet, we fight nonetheless. Not because we have to. But because that's why we're in w-space! And we think self-destructing ships is stupid; to the victor goes the spoils...

There's a party in J130334 in 22 hours. Bring something you can fight with. We'd love to have you on our side, but understand if you'd rather remain an interested outsider or join in with the more intimidating side. Otters just aren't that scary!

Whelp, I think that's the last of our combat-capable pilots podded out of the hole now trying to bust our fleet back in. At least we died on our terms at a time of our choosing. GG QEX, enjoy the SMAs and the rest of your "revenge" :-)

Totally fun. Will do it again.

I still believe burning all the ships in your POS is a dumb tradition, but I was outvoted. Alas. Note that none of those wrecks are mine, nor will any of them be.

That said, I understand the reasoning of my teammates even though I disagree. We have only three pilots left in the hole after multiple engagements with you, and your hole control has prevented any possible counter-attack.

Congratulations. You've won! Good content. Keep it up. We'll get you next time, again when you least expect it.

Screw it. Leave nothing behind for anyone. You gave all the fights you could. It's not like you self destructed without even trying to defend your wh.

No trolling please

Wish all wh entities would have this attitude. Still remember one of Adhocrats guys saying during our drop on their heads: yes! Warp it in...we are gonna die anyway!
That was the day when I lost my first dread, and that was awesome)

What other way can you possibly learn but from challenging those who are better at the game than you are? We gained valuable intel about PvP from our kills of your caps. We gained valuable insights into how to more efficiently/quickly roll holes scouting your fleet on the static. Our corporation initially kind of wanted to keep a "low profile" to survive in C5 space, but took a chance on a high-profile set of kills, and learned that trying to stay under the radar in C5/C6 space as a non-terrible PvP entity is unlikely.

I still think the eviction of a PvP-oriented corp is a slight overreaction to the loss of 3 dreads, but I understand that QEX was kind of bored doing the same damn thing every day :-) Glad to offer them a change of pace.

That's a great question! The Fighting Otters live on. I very rarely participated in capital escalations, preferring to earn income on an Incursion alt and via our static C3 when time allowed, so my personal wormhole lifestyle will be largely unaffected. Despite my frequent advice regarding PvE fits that I test out on Sisi on the forum, I'm in W-space for the pew. Given that we've always targeted staying small and close-knit, that of course will be a blow, so once we figure it out we'll probably want to recruit a small handful of new members. We don't want IOS to become another Talocan, so "tiny but fierce" remains a priority.

Mad props to our two new members who -- knowing full well we're under multiple wardecs and have been evicted -- joined the Otters anyway. That's bad-ass; I don't think I'd have the stones to do that.

For now? We're spread to the four winds. Weekends are when most of us make time for PvP ops (target-rich environment), so most of us are screwing around in lower-class holes this weekend, looking forward to dunking on/getting dunked by Marmites in hisec when we get an opportunity, and bunking with some friendly & hospitable W-Space blues who made some room for smelly homeless Otters.

Are we giving up? On the old hole, yeah. Props to the QEX guys on their hole control. It was pretty spectacular; the moment we'd get a scout out, they'd roll the route away within seconds. On wormholes? Hell no.

And given the opportunity, we'd do it exactly the same way again. Well, we probably would not have decided that this week post-QEX-cap-kill was a good time to get back on a regular escalation schedule instead of trying for PvP every night :-)

Props to QEX, that was a serious ******* curb stomp. Hellacious hole control. We kicked a hornets nest and paid the price, but that's the fun of it all and I'll take it any day. A crazy week of Eve.

See ya round the neighborhood some day.
