What do you perffer CRN or Golem for mission running

I feel like in my CRN i have more shields better cap recharge rate and better range

Golem is better damage,

Atleast from the stats i have infront of me.

I'm just trying to figure out what i'd be better off using.

Cap Recharge Time: 12m 19s

EM: 48.3%
Thermal: 69%
Kinetic: 72.8%
Explosive: 74.1%

Capacitor Lasts: 1m 10s (with booster)
Capacitor Lasts: Stable at 44% (without booster)
(since its an active tank)

CRN:

Effective HP: 64,169

Another thing you have to decide is what enemy you will be fighting. This will, to me, determines the ship to use.
Against Angels, the Torp Golem kicks ass.
Against Guristas, the Torp Golem sux ass.
See what i am getting at.
Golem needs torps to work well, so an enemy that orbits too far away, choose the CNR.
With implants and rage under 30kms you can get over 1100dps without drones with the Golem.

Personally, i perma run a Golem with large gisti booster and I solo all L4 mission v angels.

Hope this helps?

You sort of can pick.

You go to minnie space and you generally get Angels.
Go to Caldari and generally get Guiritas.

I mission for brutor and i get Angels by far over the other sub factions.

Obviously to some degree you can. You certainly can pick and choose what you fly against what rats though. His example wasn't to say who to shoot, it was to show the point of using the right tool for the job.

Or both ships are good actually... 2 of the best.

Get both, the CNR is dirt cheap these days and works fine with a cheap fit, you could even share 4 faction ballistic controls and a decent shield booster between the 2 ships. By doing that you'll have a great ship for every situation with a negligible isk investment.

If you were to have only one, make it the CNR, it's more versatile than even a mach or vargur, you'd find a golem unusable in some situations you could never say that of a CNR, it always shines.
